Kaede Sakai The Nigerian is statistical noise. Low percentage may likely not be accurate; however, people have to study their cousin matches. MyHeritage claims I have 1.1% Iberian yet I have several Portuguese and Spanish lines and have found 3rd and 4th cousin matches. Clearly MyHeritage’s among others are poor in providing “estimates”. All genetic genealogists have warned people not to take their “estimates” seriously as they are the least reliable. Cousin matches are accurate.
@@saskiapfandflasche7617 you mean the company? I read MyHeritage is the less accurate and 23andme and AncestryDNA are a bit better. But in my opinion, after reading so much about this topic I don't think you can trust completely any of them.
You are right! And it is a little bit strange, maby there is some explanation, that the Northern African DNA(Berberic?) is always or almost together with the Nigerian DNA!And Nigerian DNA is different than Western African DNA!Some ancestors of modern Nigerians were closer genetically to Berbers/Northern Africans?Perhaps!
His combined 'Iberian' and 'Irish, Welsh, Scottish totals 52.2% - means more than half ancestry is 'West European/South West European' = 'Celtiberian'. but yeah, the lesser half is 28.1% Italian/Greek, the other 3 components are North African (Native Portuguese often have it, at around 10%), the other 2 admixture components are Ashekenazi Jewish and West African/Nigerian, each likely around 4%. Many Portuguese men have quite similar results/components in their admixture. My own brother's results are quite similar.
I have tested several test and the most complete in ancestry to me is 24Genetics (www.24genetics.com) with more than world 400 regions. May be you could try and tell us, they accept raw data
North African DNA MAY have come from the Moors although this particular DNA has been present in Western Iberia for thousands of years and way before the Moor invasion. As for Nigerian, probably something residual from hundreds of years ago. There are no known black ancestors in our family and this doesn't show on my results.
The moors were mostly berbers and some Arab . Of course you had a few Nigerian or west African because they enslaved them to come fight their battles with them.
for you cousin from greece !!!!!
Excelentes resultados, amei!! 👍👏👏🇧🇷
The maritime pirates of the last centuries let greet :)
Muhahaha wassup Greek guy
What was the rest?
7.6% North African
7.0% Ashkenazi Jewish (this didn't show up on my results)
4.1% Nigerian (this didn't show up on my results either)
@@Ogeroigres Which results?
Wow, it's your brother but the results are very different from you.
True. I've recently tested with Ancestry DNA as well and the result was similar to my brother's on MyHeritage.
You had to buy a new kit at ancestrydna?
Or is it possible to download Myheritage data to other sites?
I had to buy a new kit at Ancestry DNA. Once you have the results, you can upload them to several other sites for free, including MyHeritage.
@@bln3615 Ofcourse it wont be different maybe some little % difference in each category....
Eu tenho mais ibérico e mais irlandês, mas globalmente os resultados são parecidos. czcams.com/video/9APavPI3N88/video.html

Low % are not accurate.

Mediterranian
Yes, although the Celtic influence is stronger in his features. I look a lot more Mediterranean than him.

Don’t believe in this as a huge truth.
The Nigerian comes from the Moors I believe...
