  • Do you have some leftover fabrics? Often we have some 2 1/2" strips and 5" squares so here is an idea for using some. Dividing into lights and darks - or at least 2 groups that contrast, this block encourages putting lots of colours together into a quilt. How delicious! - so many possibilities....... Have fun!

Wow. That block is simple yet so complicated at the same time! I love it. I would look at the finished quilt and think you made a pinwheel and a 16 patch! So very smart in your designs.

I did this block some years ago with smaller pieces - 1 1/2" strips and 2 1/2" squares - and with a different color arrangement. It´s such a versatile block!

I love this quilt block! I'm an artist and tend to make very modern/abstract quilts. But, I also love traditional blocks/quilts. What I really have fun with is making traditional blocks look modern. Also, my studio is drowning in scraps; this will be FUN! Does anyone know the name of this quilt block? Thank You, Gourmet Quilter, Sacramento, California ❤

Interesting. I'm angularly challenged. I need one good picture to do this. Is the block available somewhere thar I could print it.
