- This video shows how I make a Picket Fence block using 5" squares. This is a great block for multi-fabric scrap type quilts as well as more organised fabrics.

Thanks. I often buy one charm pack of a line-just because. This is a great way to use them.
love watching your tutorials you make it so understandable
You just saved me a lot of work on the quilt I am starting! Thank you so much!
Susan, I want to send a special 'thank you'. I have made a Picket Fence quilt for my first grandson to be (due in August). I started it as a baby quilt, but fell in love with it, so I continued to make it a full sized quilt. In honor of you, it has a little UK flair. Thank You So Much! Chris Ingram
I really like the way you teach. Thank you
Thank you again, I so enjoy your tutorials! I love your way of teaching!
So cool how it comes together.
I love how you cut more than one piece of fabric at once. A much needed time saver.

Thank you. I like 5 inch squares too.
Nice block Susan Claire! Thanks for sharing this tutoral. This block might go towards using up some of my stash. At present I'm making some floating stars, and I have been sewing the cut-off triangles up after making the star points...when you said that one could sew a second seam line to make a half square triangle piece before cutting the seam..a light bulb went off, and I thought to myself...'duh! why didn't I think of that!!' I've been sewing them up separately! Thanks!!
