- Hey guys,
In this video, I do another face reveal and show you guys my new seat getting upholstered at Seat Concepts in Hemet, CA. My seat has the gripper top and carbon sides so I'm stuck in the saddle when I need to be and I can slide when I'm out of the seat.

The installer in this video makes it look easy. I got the all carbon cover and it was a PITA to put on. I had to pull it a lot tighter than most of the install videos show. It looked really nice though when I finally got if on. Had it not cost so much to ship my pan to them, I would have paid them to install it. Shipping from NC to Idaho would have been almost $60 for my seat pan. Just trying to find the 1/4" Stainless Steel staples was a major PITA. I haven't ridden my XT 250 with the new seat yet, but just sitting on it, it is not as comfortable as the factory seat! It's firmer. That may be because it's a good bit wider and/or because I'm only about 138 lbs. I sure hope it's an improvement on long rides after all that expense and PITA Installation.
Out of curiosity did you request low density foam in your seat as well? I was pondering getting this as my oem seat is not as comfy as I'd like, but surely do not want my seat firmer than oem. Did this seat ever work out for you in the end comfort wise? Thanks for any info.
Lol he likes his legs too much. I hear you bro I lost a foot in an accident on my bike yet I still come back for more just picked up a 2018 xt250 and I couldn’t be more pumped to see all these awesome videos you’ve made great effort and solid channel

Great video. Questions - what fabric choices did you go with your new seat? How much did they charge for the installation? Did you make an appointment? I have a 2017 xt250 and plan to get a new seat
+Jan Reeves I went with the gripper tip and carbon fiber sides. I did make an appointment since I got a lower density foam for mine. It cost close to $200 but it was well worth it!
I got my drivers permit yesterday and have been practicing. I have noticed that it is a lot harder than I though it would be to drive. I have not yet had a chance to take the XT out for a ride on the road. I have a few years of experience off road but I was wondering if you could do a motovlog about what it is like the first time when you are just learning to ride on the road.

Man you're really making miss my xt😞. The ninja is cool but doesnt come close ro the fun dual sports provide. Maybe i gotta take it off road more😂

NoOnesWatching is it possible to lower the seat by 1/2 “. I am a short rider and need a few ways to lower the xt 250 ;)

Is the new foam thicker and wider?
More or less firm?
+Traveler I had them put a lower density foam in there but yes the seat is wider.

So how's the comfort, have you done long rides on it?
It's great. I've done 917 in 48 hours on this seat and I didn't have any butt or back pain the entire trip.

I probably would of washed the seat pan better. Great job though.
