    NPR's Steve Inskeep interviewed the US Ambassador to NATO about the upcoming summit, Ukraine, etc. At the end, he asked her about Biden and if he's in "decline." She said:
    "Well, I was just talking to a colleague about this. I often joke that when you go in to brief Joe Biden, whether he's vice president or the president, he often ends up briefing you. And it's hard. He asks very sharp questions. He challenges you, your core assumptions. That's what he did when I worked for him in the vice president's office. I saw him just a couple of weeks ago in Washington, and that's what he was doing again, this time in the Oval Office, peppering me with hard questions about the NATO summit. And he wanted to get it right."
    He asked if Biden has changed:
    "Of course. He has aged. And there's no question that he is older than he was when I first worked for him in the vice president's office. But in terms of engaging him and the types of questions you get and his focus, I haven't seen a change. "

      Trump is not going to jail. They will never put him in jail because he has money, and that money brings more value to the city he is being charged in then putting him in jail. Thats a lot of new cop cars, maybe new desk for school, ect. A Judge and Jury will almost always pick more money and no jail time then less money and jail time after it gets to a current financial difference. In Reality it's a bigger punishment on someone like trump to make him pay more than just go to jail. He will still make the same amount of money in prison as out of prison, and frankly wouldn't prevent him from doing any crimes he may or not be committing right now. If you want trump to fail the best thing you do is drain is bank account, limiting his reach.

      @robbybevard8034 Před 17 dny

      When in the primaries did he debate other candidates and have to answer questions without a teleprompter? When did the people voting for him have a chance to have an informed opinion? "Already president" takes primaries by default unless there's a problem. And voters weren't made aware there was a problem until AFTER the primaries.
      He did good at the state of the union, but that was scripted aside from one or two sharp off the cuff remarks, but that made it seem like he was still in good shape.
      Biden's debate against Trump is the first time we've seen him unscripted this year, which combined with a lot of his other gaffes is what's setting off alarm bells. If we'd seen him unscripted 7 months ago, these alarms could have already sounded. He could have already had a chance to soothe our fears or perform better.
      Or stepped aside then, and we could've had a year of unified and gracefully getting behind VP Harris, instead of a panicked last three months worrying about Biden's decline.

You can board the bus and complain the route is too long, the bus is too slow, in some places there are too many stops and the bus stop closest to your preferred destination is blocks away. Or you can get on the Trump bus. It doesn't go anywhere near your side of town, it travels fast and recklessly, the stops are determined by when the passengers cheer the loudest and when it stops those who didn't cheer are kicked off and thrown under the bus. Tickets are available in November and if you don't choose one a bus will be chosen for you.

      Yes, literally ANY democrat over Trump is getting the vote. Vote blue no matter who and all that. And Project 2025 is terrifying. But Trump should be the easiest opponent to beat ever and instead we've got an old sick man who is polling evenly with him, or even behind.
      This shouldn't be close. "Will the literal only choice we have, even be functioning after November?" shouldn't be an issue anyone in the middle needs to be thinking about. This should be an obvious and easy choice for *everyone* and yet the Dems pick the one candidate who might actually lose to Trump.
