Boomer is a (well trained) Bengal, and although the breed is amazingly beautiful, they are not for everyone, 1st they are part WILD and don't like being confined in houses, but if you let them out to roam they are killing machines to the local wildlife (SAD), they're not considered lap cats, most don't like being held, they are incredibly mischievous, and a lot of time every day has to be put in to exercise this breed. They also escape artists, and they are known to meow louder and more frequently than most breeds. It's not fair to these cats to just stare at them all day, they will go crazy! I have a Bengal for professional purposes, after all, I have over 34 years as a professional animal trainer. Many of the cat tricks or other behaviors you see in my videos I spent many hours, days, and months perfecting, don't try this at home. Didga is a Moggy/Tabby from the shelter and is a fantastic kitty and was easier to teach then Boomer. I'm not saying don't get one (actually I am) just know the commitment that will be needed when bringing this breed into your home. Or just live vicariously through me and my posts of Boomer. (Think before you buy) It's BEST to ADOPT DON'T SHOP.

+cb1ryder Cats will sniff bums - my four usually greet one another by inhaling deeply round the other's rear end. Perhaps they have to know the other cat quite well for this to be normal.

Actually any cats are extremely comfortable around dogs if their raised with them. I don't have a Bengal cat but my cats and dog grew up together. She is fearless of dogs because of it. I guarantee that cat was raised around lots of dogs that's why it's so comfortable.
+Logan Smith We have a cat who grew up with a pomeranian and a chihuahua and as a result she likes all dogs... but HATES other cats. She will spit at new, strange cats but is very interested and open to meeting new dogs. She eventually accepted a new kitten but it took a while and she still wont go near our other cats.

I love that most of the dogs were either polite or totally like, let's play! The most scared ones were the smaller breeds.
The most friendly dogs from what I saw were the typical "scary" ones like the German Shepard, the Rottweilers, the Pitbulls etc.
Great video. Always cool to see so many different creatures of different species/breeds get along or at least tolerate each other.
I think the cat was larger than the average cat. Bigger cats will sometimes be aggressive to all dogs which sometimes causes the dogs to freak out. My parents had one cat who would freak out dogs. My husband and I have had two. We still have the second one. We adopted him from a shelter. We call him a tabby but no one knows what he really is. Some kind of crossbreed.

I don't know what's more amazing: this cat's confidence or how well-behaved the dogs are. They were either very well-trained themselves, or completely blown away by the cat that just came strolling in like he owned everything.

+CATMANTOO Absolutely don't try at home when you have a huge cat , high heels and a fresh pair of hose on. Found out the hard way, not all cats like to be leashed for walks. My Sinatra was a beautiful, well behaved, majestic kitty for almost 2 decades. I put him on a leash once. ;) He climbed my leg like a tree and trained me that one night to never, ever do that again. ;)

Dogs are usually too aggressive when it comes to introducing themselves, which is way too much for a cat. Cats are cautious and will watch from afar, assessing any danger and taking note of behaviors and dog come too close, too soon and too eagerly. Even worse their immediate reaction after meeting something new if to play with it, which would cause cats to beat them.
Basically. They're also prey as much as they are predators.

I hope you do know that cats are independent hunters like cheetah and tiger.They were not domesticated for a long time.Cats are as much likely to become a prey to bigger animals like dogs and cayotes.They are also a prey to egales.They are independent hunters and hide from predators.I am totally in support of cats being skeptical of other creatures.They are territorial and have hunting instincts.The way cats are portrayed as Satan's minion and evil by superstitious assholes who kill and torture cats for fun,and not to mention the psychopaths who abuse cats,I don't blame cats for being cautious.They are protecting themselves because they are smaller than dogs,foxes and humans.When ever a cat has lowered his/her inhibition to become too friendly with a lot of humans,he/she got abused and killed.A cat named Missy in UK was beaten to death by some psycho because she would walk to the bus stop and was friendly with everyone.Cats should be protected from psychos and they should not be friendly with everyone.They are like a human child,if you let them be, some twisted jerk will hurt or molest them.

I walk my cat in a leash too. She loves dogs and even dogs, who does not like cats, love her. I don't have a dog myself, but I take care of family and friends dogs if needed. She has been around dogs all of her life and I have tought her to high five and a few commands where I show her with my hands without words, wich way I want her to go and to lie down. I take her with me on camping trips and she loves it. Thank you for your videos. They bring a smile on my face.
