As insane as it sounds, and is, this madness has become the defacto sociological,and now political, conscious fantasy dreamscape weaponized to promote one or more of three conditions: a neurological disorder, a psychological disorder, or a flat out con job. None of which is legitimate with regard to actual gender, that being either man or woman.

As a medical student, you should know repressed emotion makes the body sick.... Why do I know more about mental trauma than you? Could it be because western medicine has split the body from the mind? Instead of treating things holistically, we "specialize" the doctors. Saying you are in medical school doesn’t mean you are a doctor. Being a doctor doesn’t mean you can understand, & treat every illness.
For example, this character is a psychologist. He's not treating the patient for cancer. There were other doctors in the hospital doing that. If you are in medical school, I would assume you would know such things. 🙄

The show "The Good Doctor" had an episode where a resident doctor, a black woman who was a very religious Christian (supposedly) was told she had to participate in or perform and abortion in order to be in line with the rules of the hospital. Well, she resisted for a while, and then realizing that her resistance was futile, she did it. So this woman who moments before was completely pro-life suddenly gives up and kills a baby because "it's the right thing to do and the woman had the right to bodily autonomy!" Amazing! Hollywood is amazingly disgusting.
This is a good reminder to me as an actor that I should be extremely careful if I ever get a gig on a tv show. I should read the script for the whole episode to make sure it’s not promoting something like this.
I had no idea about that one, but I was absolutely inflamed by the transgender episode. The way the convinced Shaun that he was a fool for having logic and that ending line of "trying to understand." Pissed me off so much! F*** off, film!
The Good Doctor was amazing. Even Shaun didn't buy into this whole transgender bs. There was episode where girl or boy was saying they are other gender and had surgery done to them. Because the intellectual decay that is post-modernism is the norm now. No one cares about what's actually true anymore -- instead, everyone gets "their truth" now. The writers "felt" (notice how everyone says "I feel..." about facts and ideas now, rather than "I think...") that it was true from their subjective "lived experience," ergo it's true and you aren't allowed to "judge" them by suggesting otherwise. This is how societies die -- when everyone just does whatever is right in their own eyes.

My mother died from cancer, felt the end come and asked the doctors if she could talk to me one last time, to say goodbye in dignity. Unfortunately she died during the very first wave of the "pandemic" and the doctors refused to let me see her, no matter how much I argued, begged and cried. She died alone and probably frightened. If only I knew that that one phone call we had was the last time I spoke to her! I would have said something different and this thought drives me insane! I can't deal with it.

A black/Persian/British oncologist with a chip on her shoulder, an Hispanic woman and a gay physiologist. A perfect storm of BS. Even an assistant the shrink hired was gay. It began with that gay doctor who was married to a man and adopted several kids of every race but white, and a blue-haired trans in the ER, then a straight doctor decided she was going to sleep with women now. Half of the patients were gay, trans, minorities all complaining about "the man" and how they are sick because... white people. It got tiresome after a while. So yeah, not out of context at all if you've actually watched the show.
Ending racism will not stop cancer. However, wokeness is a social malignancy.

This reminds me of something said during the "Me 2" era, that a woman doesn't actually have to be r8ped in order for her to feel as if she were r8ped, which led to the assertion that a woman can withdraw consent after sexual congress is completed. Both of these represent the idea that you don't have to actually commit a crime in order to be guilty of a crime.

If you ever watched "Switched at Birth," there is an episode where the Hispanic girl gets drunk at frat party, goes into a bedroom with her male friend who is in love with her, who is also drunk, they start messing around and have sex. When she wakes up the next morning and realizes what happened, she turns her friend in for date rape and gets him expelled from college. And that was several years ago before all this woke idiocy was so bad. So she had consensual sex, but because she was drunk and he was drunk (and in love with her), he was to blame.
The same happened to former Pres. Trump in NY recently ... they could not even NAME his actual crime that he was so-called guilty of. Actually he was guilty of being Trump.

New Amsterdam is so woke on all levels. I was stunned and flabbergasted when I watched the show.
Throughout its entire run, I watched this show for a grand cumulative total of probably less than 15 minutes and I can tell you that it was an intersectional, woke, box checking, virtue signaling extravaganza of undreamt of proportions. You could even tell that just from the commercials. This clip surprises me not in the least.
The 15 minutes I watched (never again) was 2 men APOLOGIZING to a woman for wanting to know which one of them was the Father of the baby! love(agape)

To be fair, I have first hand experience of head trauma as a result of racism. I cut the eye holes in my pillow case too far apart which caused me to walk into a lamp post.

As a white, former healthcare provider who has had serious cancer issues in the family, I'm highly offended by this crap scene in this equally crappy series and find it disgusting!!! This is an enormous slap in the face to every cancer sufferer, particularly those who are not "of color". I'm SO sick of the victimhood and reverse racist excuses for all the minorities who aren't willing to obey the law, get educated, and work hard to succeed and who want to sponge off of the rest of us.
Imagine standing in front of two other woke actors and having to say that line without bursting out laughing. That is a Herculean amount of self-control.
Many years ago, I found a medical drama series on TV and started watching it. After a number of episodes, I became aware that one of the staff was homosexual and in a relationship with someone else. I immediately stopped watching the program. That program was New Amsterdam.
season 1 was okay. season 2 meh. season 3 went full vomit inducing sjw. It was like watching john oliver in drama form.

Me too. I watched seasons 1&2. The third gave me nausea 🤮🤮 now four is out and I'd rather watch a blank screen that 10 mins of it!
