I think I would rather her play DS3 and Elden ring first. I don't know if either of them have practiced enough for that to be done in a reasonable time for a "speedrun" and idk if either care to practice DS1 speedruns. Also people would probably just bitch and complain the entire time or take it to seriously. This is assuming Asmon and Emi would be down for that.

@@anonymousperson8903 no it wasn’t 💀 it was average, he could’ve been magic, pure faith, bleed, dual katana, or bloodhound step. The double halberd is not even close to op in elden ring. YOU CAN LITERALLY ONE SHOT EVERY SINGLE BOSS AT LVL 1 there are so many vids of it. Trust me he was using the most fair build in the game.

Knowing a gimmick with a boss without ever playing the game is a big difference. even pro souls players die to random enemies, saying she died to rats therefore her gameplay isn't fake, doesn't prove that its not. just means she bad at fighting rats. in my "opinion" its pretty obvious she's not playing the game blind, she does know things already that are going to happen and play out to an extent.

@@GhostAeonWolf Yeah was thinking this exact same thing. Just needs to spend 10 hours watching The Happy Hob, Squilla Killa, or Gino Machino and boom, already in the top 10% of Souls players. There are strats and simple boss logic guidelines that make these games rather scripted/non punishing.

@@youareacoward8459 First off, there's literally thousands of speedruns where streamers have calculated drops or attacks leaving them at exactly 2hp or so to minmax stats and allow for stuff like RTSR to proc simulatenously. Secondly, no she doesn't run away from big monsters. Just with Discharge, the one boss where it's an EZ clap 1 shot strat. It was fake asf.
honestly i love how asmongold struggled so hard to beat dark souls and emiru is just FLYING by it at break neck speeds to be fair my first playthrough was rough hardest boss for me then was orrstine and smog and i went for orrsitne cause i wanted that spear and armor LOL
She's not exactly breezing through it though, she's died around 300 times up intil Ornstein and smough but has no trouble for the Bosses it seems cause she beat O and S in 3 tries lol

To be fair, even with the "shockwave" from the boss he still landed on the edge, but the garbage collision detection pushed him down.

As someone who has played dark souls several times, now, I’ve only been fortunate enough to see that golem go over the edge once not that he’s particularly hard to beat but still she’s gotten quite lucky for her first time playing.
its literally part of the boss. when you get enough damage on the legs in a certain amount of time, he struggles like he did in Emirus clip. if you then deal enough damage to his other leg, he takes a big step backwards to try and catch himself again.. or fall off when he was positioned correctly.
So making him fall off is a valid strategy and exploited by speedrunners.

I did that fight in 2 tries Dam it was soo fun
Killed em on my first attempt on my laptop because idk but in my experience there was a bug that if you hug smough he do 0 damage for some reason so I killed him off and ornstein just keep spamming the grab attack and I slowly and carefully finished him off. From what I saw from others gameplay againts em it's fun but not for me because of those bugs😒

agreed I always found it super cringe how a large portion of viewers feel the need to discredit every kill in a new players play through. It's not specific to Emi. it's a pattern I've noticed.
I honestly hate to look in the comments a lot of the time if there is a woman in the clip. The comments always make me feel out of place and pretty hurt. It’s like whiplash cause I’ll think the clip is goofy or non-impactful, but then the comments are just god awful.
