budget in Thailand is so personal..u can survive on 10$ or spend +10000$ a day..and all between. Its all up to YOU and what you want in life
Most expensive as always is barlife and expensive ladys..if u keep away from that its pretty cheap to live a GOOD comfortable life with no drama.
Exactly 👍🏻
Semper Fi bro, glad you made it out of the matrix to greener pastures.
Good stuff 🤙
How were you able to live in Thailand for 5 years? I thought it was hard to get a long term visa in Thailand.
Oohrah Semper Fi Brother, been in and out of Thailnd since 2002 Cobra Gold, appreciate the info!
What airlines do you fly or what website do you use for booking flights ?
Cool video .
What type of visa do you have? And, do you work while in Bangkok (remote)?
I lived ten years in bkk with my owned condo near to bts and everything is cheap always love here kap.🙏
I'm headed to Chaing Mai on May 12 to see if I can afford to live there myself. Too bad Bangkok is so far away I would like to buy you a few beers and chat. Thanks for the info PPR.
@@thehumblehummingbird I have a B&B in the NW part in Nimmanhaemin, for my first three week recon trip and I would like a more quiet area. However, where I'm staying is on the flight path, so there's that. I've also booked a realtor to drive me around Chaing Mai to see where would, be a good fit. Once i get settled, I'll probably travel the country more to find the perfect spot. My budget for a condo is up to 20000 Bht, and from the recent looking I've done, I shouldn't have a problem finding something. The burning season does concern me, especially for how long it lasts, I plan to be pretty flexible if and area doesn't work out. Thanks for reaching out, THH.
Can you elaborate on how your food is 60 THB per day. What does it include? Do you cook on your own?
You have never been in Thailand? If u eat thai food u pay thai prices - eat western food - pay western prices
@@nattm6553 Yea, I have lived here for many years ... 60 baht a day even with Thai food and Thai prices you are starving ...
@@user-ei1ct4gn7s ok mr stonetable expert (probably in pattaya and speaks 4 words thai) , but u do know that minimum wage in Thailand is 363 baht a DAY and many thaippl live on that?
It all depending WHERE u live and how u live and how much food your body need etc
If you cook simple food HOME 60 baht is totally realistic its not fun food but food.
@@user-ei1ct4gn7s budget in Thailand is so personal..u can survive on 10$ or spend +10000$ a day..and all between. Its all up to YOU and what you want in life
Yeah, I can't believe that 60 baht per day figure. The cheapest single dish you can find on the street is around 25-30 baht. Eating 2 meals per day of the lowest quality street food is not a good idea. He spends more money on weed than on food!
Can you say what area you are living in? And how far from the bts?
How do you manage the visa issue? Thanks.
The amount he mentions for food per day is dramatically lower than most - doubling that for most people would still be LOW - no disrespect intended here and he probably honestly is making that happen but he is in a profound minority and you will find yourself spending 3 to 5 times that amount. I’ve lived here over 1 years
Nice one mate.
Copy every video that has ever been made on Bangkok, and hope no one in the world has ever seen one before.
P.S.
Get the train into Bangkok.
I've saved you 300 baht already.
Is there any vacancies in your building?
Ever thought of setting up your own little grow tent in your apartment? Keep your overall costs down and all that. Easy to do.
I did exactly that, during Covid, before weed was legal. Since it was legalized, I just order clones online every few months after I harvest the previous crop.
You just get the train from the airport to the city center
Why a taxi from the airport, why not the airport rail link and the metro
How do you only spend 60 baht a day on food? How big is your apartment? What area? Are those places easy to find? I assumed rent would be higher in BKK. Is it possible to get an apartment at that price for shorter leases, like 6 months? Thanks!
Well ... 60 baht a day he is starving ..
I’m an ordinary teacher here in Bangkok I spend at least 350 baht a day. 😊 60 baht that’s just for 1 meal no water or drinks…. no snacks
So you eat fried crickets every day
I need 4k usd. Too much entertainment out there. Also bro too much background noise with that water.
4k a month? you dont.
How do you make a living there?
Probably VA benefits and saving
What about entertainment and health insurance . I believe your $800 is doable for a bachelor with a simple life mindset which is reassuring.
Hey, great question. I'm having some dental work done right now. Outside of insurance and what would cost me 21,000 usd in the United States is costing me about 1,300 usd here in thailand.😮
You can but people like to pretend theyre still living in the USA with their luxury style
fun fact..Americans are pretty rare in se-asia..European Australian and even Canadians is more common. Most Americans ive seen and met over the years are Vets.
Thailand was done before covid . All of the experts moved out .
There's many guys living in Cambodia and refuse to ever go back to Thailand. That's pretty bad .
You spend 60 baht on average a day on food? that is 1 small thai dish? you probably know a 100 dollars is oer 3000 Baht so you probably meant 100 baht and not 60? :) still very low
$60 baht per day , yeah right
Semper Fi Devil Dog
No lestaulang no boom boom no thai smile😅😅😅
Why does this video look like it was made in 1975?
😂😂😂
Don’t live in Thailand if ya westerners can’t afford 2,000 -2,500 a month !
