Hello everyone! Just want to let you know that Scotland is not in full lockdown but England is. We made three last videos in England before lockdown and will now only be able to film in Scotland, where we live. We are not able to travel into areas on a higher alert level but still able to go to places on the same or lower level than us. So, thankfully, we still have plenty of interesting places to go! We always like to comply with local regulations and rarely go where there are people anyway. Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments! Stay safe and happy! Gail & Alex xx
You stay safe as well during your journeys🥰 Gail, I would love a silver necklace with turquoise’ sea glass, please let us know when you make and post to Etsy. I am in the USA but when I go to Etsy, I never see those anymore 😢
So Good to know. This virus is 99% recoverable. These horrible made up rules must stop. People should be FREE.
GOD BLESS THE WORLD.❤
@@pamelamcfadden337 In the UK as many people had died from Covid than we have subscribers. In other countries the death toll is in the hundreds of thousands. We feel it's our duty to play our part and protect the lives of our fellow citizens xx
So glad to hear that it didnt effect all of Britain! I have a friend in Englad that does walking/exploring videos & he is feeling a little limited right now. Thankfully he said it isnt as bad as the last time they were put on lockdown!!!😕
@@NorthernMudlarks thank you for your wise and kind words love from the North (manchester) very well said and thank you so much for the lovely videos 👍
Hi Ladies, I never thought I would derive so much pleasure watching people picking up glass from a beach but I do! It's so therapeutic to watch. Just hearing your voices and seeing the beautiful colours of the glass is so relaxing and OMG the end result is stunning! Gail you are a real craftswoman! Thank you x
I so agree with you... after some very stressful days I turn these ladies on and sooth my soul with the music and exploring!
Gail, I think we are close in age and for you to say you're fading...NO...you are beautiful and courageous and a true Lady. I think you're amazing! You inspire us to get out there, MOVE, and take life in stride. I would love for our US History Channel to pick you two up on a weekly basis. You two get into some very interesting adventures! You two are so much fun! Thank you for keeping us entertained, I know it could not have been easy. 💛
As a male of a similar age, I agree.
Definitely not faded, I'd be happy to have such an attractive lady on my arm 😊😊
Not only *not* fading, but glowing!
Northern Mudlarks is the best part of Sunday. So sorry you're going on lock down again.
Scotland's not going into another lockdown, hopefully. England is now in lockdown though.
Covid?
@@mimimitch327 Gail said something about going into lockdown in the area there were starting at midnight
Ah yes, England went into lockdown on either Wednesday or Thursday. It must have been filmed in England then.
Your videos are like a piece of sea glass ; they take all the rough edges of life off and leave something beautiful.
I wanna be “well worn” and “glowing from the inside “ just like Gail!! You are both such talented visionary’s with so much beauty spilling out from inside!!! Wish you could hear all the excited gasps and squeals from me and my tiny daughter as we watch each time! Thank you so much! Blessings and health to you and yours!
You turn my attention from the President election and it's stresses in the United States America. You calm me with the music and the magic of the beach and your soothing voices. Gathering sea glass. You are my lovelies.Thank you.
Yep me too.
Same. A welcome respite from the crazy over here.
I'm in Port Orange, Florida

Couldn't have said it better!💗 Trying not to think. This is a wonderful relaxing show.
I love having special words for things that no one else knows. My grandmother called her wheeled shopping cart a "wee wee" because the wheel squeaked. My other grandmother called the old lady tracks suits "chichies" because they'd go chchchch when they walked.
I should be so lucky as to have someone “well worn” and “glowing from the inside “ such as Gail in my life. Like fine wine, you are finishing well. Thank you both for a peaceful video as usual. I found you recently and try to finish my day with one of your videos to calm me before bedtime. Well done ladies.
Awww...
I’m so glad I found you girls! I suffer from sever anxiety and watching you two have really helped! I love what you do. And thank you!!
-just a girl from Missouri
You go beyond Christmas decorations I would hang that in the window to enjoy year round. Simply Beautiful
Thing make good wind chime
The only thing better than watching you two pick up all that beautiful sea glass and other treasures is watching Gail make that beautiful festive glass tree decoration. Thank you so much.
I can't stop watching mud larking videos. I think it's time to dig out those old fishing waders and head to the rivers. It never occurred to me one could have so much fun digging.
I'm binge watching your older videos. I have terrible insomnia and I find them very relaxing. Beautiful ornament also. Thank you!
I would struggle to leave some of those beautiful stones behind. Lovely ornament.
Yes Gail, you are absolutely beautifully faded 🌹💗
Shwoos, Blu, Klingle klongle, beautiful music, an abundance of sea glass and a magnificent Christmas decoration... what’s not to like?!
I can’t thank you enough for the hours of pleasure you have given me, taken me away on mental vacations, trips to the shore, rockhounding, heaven.
Thank you for taking me along!
Hello again!.. Sometimes your vids make me cry.. I lived by the ocean for almost 25 years, in Cape May, New Jersey, USA.. Now I live hundreds of miles away in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania... You transport me to the ocean !!..I can feel the sand and stones, smell the salt in the air.. the way the cold touches your fingers after hours of searching for treasures, as I had done. Lovingly finding pieces of the past and collecting them. Thank you so much!❣❣... Be well and stay safe!
I just love the way you portray your finds at the end. MAGICAL😊😊😊
Gail you're so clever at making beautiful things jewelry and Alex.
The artistry in theses videos just gets better and better 💕😷
Ohmygosh I could CRY! I have searched for SO LONG for a piece of brick like that!!! I started collecting sea finds when I was 14. I'm almost 40. Such a rare treasure!
I could watch that wave footage from the intro all day
Gail's Christmas tree Christmas tree ornament is whimsical and beautiful.
I love love love seeing ya'll make things.. turning your finds into beautiful hand crafted jewelry and treasures.. excited for all of the ornaments to come!
Another 50 minutes of bliss from Alex & Gail. Can't imagine how much work it takes putting your videos together.
Can you hear me across the ocean and continent? I'm shouting there's one, there's one, and o'ma gosh you missed one! 😋. Beautiful day there for a sea glass hunt. Gail what a great idea for an ornament. Alex your camera and editing skills are improving again. Gail your camera work is going in the right direction too. What a table load of pretty. Blessings and stay warm.
Beautiful sea glass so sorry you will get locked down again. Hope it won't be for long. I will be lost without your videos
Ah my favorite mudlarking team ❤️🤗 it's always a pleasure watching your adventures. When my daughter's were young we had adventures in the woods and beaches. I miss that so much. Watching you two of awesome! Thanks for sharing this part of your life with us. 💕❤️🤗
It’s taken me a couple of days to finally watch your lovely video. Gail, I could watch you all day creating your masterpieces. After the nerves and jangles and finally great relief here, watching you both today is sweet and relaxing. 💙
Gail I love your metal working and the results are stunning. Yes i like the sea marble over the dump ones. Awesome assortment of sea glass and amazing pottery pieces especially the hand painted ones. So sorry you have to go back into lockdown, please please stay safe and well and god willing this pandemic will be over soon. Peace, love and blessings to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟🌟
Wow, so much chunky glass pieces on that beach, and in lots of colours. They look so good together and the pottery was nice to. I love the beautiful Christmas tree pendant that Gail made and the way the light passes through it.
Was such a clever idea.
Keep safe guys and thank you
Wow, Gail your patience and perfection in making treasures, is wonderful. I love the Christmas tree pendant so much, when Alex held it up to the light it was a real 'WOW' moment. Beautiful!! And Shwoo's eyesight and ability to follow an object, is amazing!
Mama you are not fading away, you are absolutely amazing and beautiful and right where you are supposed to be, you are not fading away you are shining and bright!
This was another fun beach video. My dear Gail, you are NOT fading! You are very vibrant. You get out and around, and you are creative. I would love to have the skills you have for hand crafting jewelry, and such. The ornament turned out beautifully. Thank you for your video. Since y'all have all that glass, and y'all are on lockdown, you can make lots of beads, necklaces and rings with the glass and bits and bobs of pottery. The best to you both ♥♥♥
Wow!!. A yogi would love love that 'chant' piece, perfect as a pendant ....❤
Gail, you shouldn’t hammer that fast! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 . Thinking of ppl who said you drove too fast. HA!
😂
Another awesome video. Gail the beautiful Christmas 🎄 pendent , absolutely 💯. 🥀✌🇱🇷
Gail, you have such a beautiful imagination!❤️
Can I toss out an idea for a seaglass ornament?! With all of your light blue, aqua or even white colors you have...you could make a snowman and/or snowflake ornament!!!☃️❄
Authorities: What are you doing here?
Northern mudlarks: Mudlarking
Authorities: Go home.
Northern Mudlarks: Sea glass...
"Precious"...
I adore the pottery piece that is broken to say "enchant" a bit reversed. That would make such a lovely piece of jewelry!
Even one that simply says chant would be lovely too.
Many great finds never thought to go from the beach to making something or researching the finds stirs the imagination , great finds, always stirs the ideas thank you
Jumping in before watching to the end, so you probably already saw what I saw in that flagon shard at 28:12. Yes, I know it says 'chant', but right below and a bit to the left it also says 'EN'. So I immediately read 'enchant'-- which is what your lovely videos do. They enchant. That wee heart is a knock-out! Okay. Now I can settle back down for the rest of the show LOL!
I absolutely love that its you and your mum spending precious time together on adventures. Its time we all cherish and miss when it's gone. I love watching the 2 of your spending this time together looking for beautiful items of history.
What a beautiful place to be in lockdown, and how fortunate too that you are both artists and can let your creative juices flow when all is still outside.Love the tree ornament with that gorgeous absinthe green stone.Great finds.
A fantastic video. It's so exciting
watching you zoom into see what is hiding on the beach ⛱
Thank you lovely ladies so much for another amazingly wonderful and relaxing adventure and video. This one was far and away one of your very best. Such a soft and emotional feeling video. Dear Gail, I just have to say you are so very far from faded and you are so very beautiful don’t ever think other. Like your sea glass held to the sun you radiate such a beautiful soul, never think other!🤗 hugs and love to the two of you! Look forward to seeing what you create on lockdown.
I love those BIRDS!!! THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY. 🥰❤️
Chant En...En Chant ... that would make a lovely pendant or charm or ornament. ❤
Just Wonderful ! Thank you once again ladies ! x
What would be the largest and most perfect piece of seaglass you have ever found ?
The videos you make are so very professional and I love your voices . I always watch these at night bcz I find them very soothing especially with the sound of the sea in the background ! Thank you for making them 🙂😁👍🏼👍🏼
Stay safe and healthy☮️🇨🇦Gail you are not faded, you are beautiful.Everything I know about you from this channel is beautiful including your face, and your artistry. Sorry I’m so late, we are in a blizzard here and I lost my cat, have been looking for hours, sigh.
You two are incredibly inspiring - you've brought so much to my life by sparking ideas and new hobbies. Thank you.
I love these Sunday walks with Alex and Gail💚
Just a girl and her marble. Love it lol.
So Awesome!!! I am a total sea glass junkie and hunt the coast of Maine New Hampshire and the Outer Banks. I dream of hunting a beach like that some day. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures!!!
Loved the Christmas tree decoration/necklace. Precious! 💚💚💚
You two are precious. As is your artistry. Thank you for you excitement and entertainment
Those small clay pipe stems coloured with a red stripe and strung together would make lovely Christmas tree decor.
The large black glass reminds me of lava glass found along Obsidian Trail in Oregon...on the Pacific Crest Trail. Amazing to see shiny black glass rocks/boulders all over. All the sea rocks on your shore really grab my heart. I love your love for what you both see in your natural world.
Hello from Eugene, OR.🙋♀️ I have some of that Obsidian, its beautiful!!!🖤
I absolutely LOVE THE CHRISTMAS DECORATION!!!! SO so beautiful!!! I am super excited what you wil both create for every Christmas decoration what a lovely tradition you could start!! Thank you once again for your beautiful art of editing, filming and craftsmanship
This was a wonderful video. Both soothing and exciting at the same time. Thank you so much. It's so enjoyable with all the turmoil in the world right now! ❤❤
Peaceful music & photography Alex! ❤️. Love the beautiful ornament Gail!
Immense talent (& patience) you have! Looking forward to more of ornaments coming later!! Stay safe ladies!! ❤️❤️
I love the blue heart ! I think if you string a tiny bead ,fold it in half, and feed if up through the hole on top and you can hang it from a chain !
Love the sea glass videos. And Gail's green glass Christmas decoration is absolutely beautiful.
I was able to go to my favorite dump area for glass yesterday. Unusually warm weather in Indiana. I found pink depression glass, a piece of Jadite and several pieces of Vaseline glass. I can't wait to start making beads. Thank you for always being inspiring.
Beautiful tree ornament! It's fantastic! I would wear it as a necklace 🤗💕👋💎
The dark blue inside the sea glass marble reminds me of a rolling blue wave in the ocean captured inside the marble. It’s beautiful
Love watching you work, Gail... what a great crafts women you are, your metal working skills are spot on. xx
My weekly dose of "sanity". Bless you both xxx
Mum Gail once said
“beautifully faded like me”
🥰❤️ love you both❤️ also mum Gail made beautiful daughter Alex 🥰
Thank you ladies. I enjoy your adventures. Looking forward to more, Scotland will be fun!
I absolutely love the speeded up sound of the hammer. Very satisfying. Lovely ornament. X
You have not faded...still precious. Love you.
Lovely work on the Copper/Sea glass pendant, Gail! Great day at the beach! Alex, I believe the little marble you found is a marble made for the game of marbles. Smaller than a Codd marble, and with an inclusion of coloured glass shaped like a tiny twisted ribbon. In the US we refer to them as 'Cat's Eye', since, when held vertically, the look like a cat's eye that is partially dilated. They were the most common marble available here, at least 60 or so years ago!
Stay safe during your new lockdown and remember you are loved and appreciated. Give your kitty a cuddle from me!
That is very nice you and your mom are so talented and creative ☺️
I loved every find at the beach and have hankered for you to bring back some of the patterned tiles each time I see then lying around. Gail, darling you are so beautiful...comparing yourself to the treasure found made me giggle for a quick moment as I think of myself old and tired.... but Daeling Gail, you are beautiful just like the amazing treasures you find on every beachcombing or mudlarking adventure. Hugs to you both and you are both indeed so talented!!!
Aw, you are too kind! xx
Beautiful chunky sea glass. Thank you for the day out and I’m sorry you’re back in lockdown. So wish this was over with.
Gail your ornament was stunning! I would leave up all year! Stay safe ladies.
🦋
I am a potter, and I would gladly buy a pendant made from a piece of pottery you found on the beach, such as that impressed “flagon” piece. I really look forward to your videos - so relaxing.
Class, Glass Ladies 👍👍👌👌😄xx
I make a lot of jewelry with sea glass. I love beach combing, but the sea glass you two find leaves my mouth hanging open lol
Beautiful and lovely as usual. You both are so calming and appreciative of things that others would just toss. You see the beauty in everything. How absolutely precious you are.
Both of you are very magical, mystical, and soul connected You bring joy to my mornings. Thank you
