  • In this episode Ky explores the number one sea glass beach on the ABC Islands in the country of Bonaire - He finds marbles, sea coins, and literally every color of the rainbow in this one! The beginning of the hunt starts off in some caves and recesses of the cliff ledges made of fossilized coral and then towards the end he uses his goggles to hunt underwater in some pretty rough waves to look for treasures. At the very end of the video you get to see some of his best finds from the recent hunts in Bonaire!
    Follow our journey sea glass hunting and adventuring around the world as we sail our boat from island to island in search of treasure laden beaches.
    Captain Ky the Sea Glass Guy is a world renowned sea glass hunter who is circumnavigating the planet with his dog finding all of the greatest sea glass beaches no one has ever seen before. He sold his cave farm in Hawaii to sail from country to country searching for treasure, but his ship was struck by lightning causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. His boat, The Emerald of Pleiades, is in its final stages of repair on an island off the coast in Venezuela and he will be setting sail to continue the adventure soon.
    Ky sells the sea glass he finds to pay for ship repairs on his Facebook sales page Facebook.com/SunsOutTonguesOut and you can read more about his adventures as a fire fighter, a combat medic in Iraq, and about his cave farm at KyPirate.com

    I absolutely enjoyed this Extreme Sea Glass Treasure Hunt Captain Ky. This is the best video I have ever seen on Sea Glass hunting.
    You are very adventurous. I love those sea coins too. It is definitely sharp coral edges all over, and hoping you are carful. I loved going into the caves and diving for sea glass. This video lets you be right there and looking for all the treasures. How about those marbles and the chubby white round/long pieces? I have watched this right through to the end where you show everything you have found in Bonaire. Captain Ky, you are "The Man" for sure. Captain, treasure hunter, adventure seeker, diver, pirate, story teller, sailor and a pleasure to know and follow you and LC around the world. Thanks for sharing.

I am an agate hunter beach comber in California n Oregon border your glass n marbles and my agates wow is insane I thought I had a lot...anyways so in some parts of Calif. We have a place or a few but one is glass beach. Calif. Mendicino I think. And they have now shut down the gettings if you are not a jewler or some thing because it's become where people r taking huge buckets and leave none for the others behind them. Which I think is insane how can ocean garbage be illegal to grab when is our beaches and not really owned by private people. Perhaps should charge a fee and limit the take and also have a recycle type thing toss a bunch of glass to be sea tumbled ya know. Or ceramic. I just don't get it. I will be in ur page looking to buy however I like that you don't take it all n leave a lot for others. Good job. • @TheBoredPirate
      @TheBoredPirate  Před rokem +2

      I pick up TONS - Some of my other videos are about picking up trash, but I don’t do while I’m shooting video, especially in the water in caves, just nowhere to put it. So usually I pick up before and after my hunt, just very difficult without extra hands or carrying a big bag around. This video takes place in a literal trash dump, so not much can be done, but don’t worry, I do more than my fair share of cleaning up. Doesn’t make for very captivating videos though, and I pick up trash to help the world, not to boast about it

    Hi when you find garbage please pick it up and garbage it. You just throw it back . Not cool

    • @TheBoredPirate
      @TheBoredPirate  Před 2 lety +8

      Lol I can't pick up every piece I see. I am hunting almost exclusively at dump sites, which means millions of tons of trash that would take an army to pick up. If you follow my Facebook you will see that we pick up loads of trash, however, it doesn't make very good content. People don't watch my videos when I make them about trash. So I pick it up before, and after my videos, not during. So please don't judge a book by its cover, I can guarantee I've picked up more trash then most people alive today. I just don't boast about it for money, I don't do it to be cool, I do it because it's the right thing to do. So yes, very cool
