- In fall 2023, Orbea presented the new Orca. What are the main differences between the Orca Aero and the Orca? The Orca Aero has been uncompromisingly trimmed for maximum aerodynamics, while the new Orca has been developed for extremely light weight, high stiffness and yet high comfort. The new Orca can also be fitted with 32mm wide tires, providing additional riding comfort if required. During development, many aerodynamic features and knowledge were adopted from the Orca Aero, so you get a very powerful performance road bike that feels comfortable in any terrain and shines especially in the mountains and over long distances. We received a bike from Orbea to assemble in our workshop, in the video you can see all the details and the weights of the individual components during assembly. Enjoy the video.
Orbea will equip the World Tour Team Lotto Dystny from 2024. The new Orca will certainly be seen at all the important races.

Finally an Orbea with the weight in the specs 😬
nice bike , dream
Nice build :)
Buen Ensamblaje
Oooooooooooooo nice !!!
漂亮🎉🎉🎉
9:49 - ups 😂
HAHAHA IT IS BEFORE 9:49 HE PUT THE CRANK ARM BACKWARD
i was watching the building, and i wonder if you have an issue with the headset bearings!!! what do you have to do?
what stembar do you use? I thought that Orbea did not release integrated stembar
Would you guys recommend having a black inc integrated handlebar on an Orbea Orca or is a vision metron more suitable, let me know your thoughts.
bottom bracket bearings sounded rough... 10:21 🤐
I feel like the mechanic was a bit "off" on this nice build. He screw it until he felt severe resistance on a preloader that its design just to remove "play" and to top it off instead of checking "floating"\"playing" by forcing the axle on side forces he just spinned the cranks... so, the crankset is overloading the BB bearings.
Cranks can barely spin 3 times with that much force... horrible lol
@@richinoya_ RIP bottom bracket (If that issue isn´t adressed before long rides)
Can you build a mountain one ??
I cant get the seat post in on mine. The internal clap is shite
Very nice bike and colour, but with these tyres you need 2kg of spare inner tubes on each ride....
frame size??
What's the name of that alignment tool ?
That's the "Gabelknecht"

9:48 WTF? 🙃
😂
0.o wow
sounds a bit rough.. i guess a little too much preload.
Do not. I repeat do not leave the pads in while you bleed brakes. It takes seconds to take them out and put the aptly named "bleed blocks" in and save your pads from the bin once a drop or splash of oil gets on them. Lazy.
6.64 kg without pedals and bottle cages. Why is this so called climbing frame so heavy? It´s heavier than some allround aero-bike frames like the Tarmac.
What did you expect?
@@user-ee3uv8jz1n I would expect a climbing bike like this with less aero features than an aero bike is lighter than the alrounder bikes these days.
Disc brakes mate!
@@mikicastan The new Factor Ostro Vam is 6,88kg with pedals, bottle cages and disc brakes as an Aero-Allrounder. So, what´s your point?
Extremely unlikely

Meh!!! I never got into battery powered shifters or oil filled brake system. Nothing like the raw power and feel of your hands, the mechanical way.
Sounds like you don´t leave the house that much, let alone ride bikes. I still own and RIDE rim and mechan bikes during training and rainy days but nothing comes close to Di2. I absolute love the ergonomics of the new gen shifters and I remind myself how good they are when I have to go back to my "old" 11s every week.
Ok boomer
@@wsbygt I've been riding since you.....well, you probably hadn't been born kiddo, that's why nothing is better than mechanical. Millennials......lmao!!!
@@wsbygt Didn't know that leaving the house meant "more miles riding".......yeah! Great analogy you got there. Seems like college wasn't an option nowadays.
What you millennials say? your instead of you're..........lol. I know that kind.
@@Chris._P._Bacon m8... ride more and try Di2 and disc brakes at least once. Anyways enjoy and ride safe, cheers!
