I couldn't believe it, they were feeding on the other side of the yard and I never though Goldie would bring her tiny fawn right up to the stump and I so soon. This could really be a fun summer if this little guy is already building trust in the funny looking two-legged creature!😂😊❤

This was quite a surprise, Nicky was the only doe to bring out her fawns very early and to be honest, I wasn't sure if any of our small herd was even pregnant. Naming new fawns is tough, it may be a year before I'm even able to tell the new ones apart. It's even tough just knowing if it's a boy or girl, I thought one fawn was a doe until after a year and little bumps began growing on her/his head! It will be interesting to watch a new mother raise a fawn, so far she seems very capable.
