- Nothing gets you in a more patriotic mood than hearing the JAG theme song! It’s up there with the best of them. And this legal drama was Top Gun meets A Few Good Men. Created by the uber successful Donald Bellisario, who began with Magnum PI and moved on to Airwolf and QUantum Leap, all before JAG. And JAG could be the best of the lot, so popular it spawned the NCIS franchise. BUt it all began with JAG’s unique combination of courtroom drama, who-dun-it, and a touch of romance and intrigue thrown in. 10 seasons of strong story-lines and terrific acting. So what did the cast get in to after their duties ended.
I’m your host, Commander Nick, and today we’re revisiting our favorite "judge advocates." Be sure to give this video a th umbs up if ya don’t mind, and subscribe to the channel for more throwbacks. Alright, let’s move out.

Any Fans of this show? 🤔
I am! I still watch it on News nation from 9 to 11am EST.
Miss the original so watching the reruns, love the show.
So much so that I have a bone to pick with you all....it is COMMANDER RHABB not CAPTAIN....and you left out admiral chegwiddens appearance on 2008 knight rider as Gus the pilot who perished alongside Dr. Graiman in the show....had to give a thumbs down on yer vid for soo many mistakes
Love NCIS, and NCIS:LA, but NCIS: NO was a NO for me
He married Lt. Singer? Mind blowing....🤯
I love JAG! Favorite character was Admiral Chegwidden
Was a huge enthusiast of JAG !!! Superb show !!! The most underrated actor was John M Jackson !!! He was amazing as Admiral Chegwidden !!!
My total favorite. Admiral Chegwidden! I even looked for him on NCIS Los Angeles
@@Dumbluck14 fun fact! In NCIS Los Angeles, A.J Chegwidden is a member and former Vietnam War colleague of Henrietta Lange!
I'm Matt Sigloch and was the Technical Advisor for all 10 Seasons. What a great time!
Great job❤

I LOVED this show. I still have all episodes on DVD.
I watched every new episode and am watching them all again on the H+I network. David James Elliott is just about the most handsome man I’ve ever seen, and he looks so good in that uniform!
Canada thanks you for your kind words.
True
Love this show. Have watched all the seasons several times!
Enjoyed them all and happy to keep watching them streaming or DVD.
Sorry to hear Cath Bell is tied up with that cult.
you mean the cult "democratic voter",i feel your pain.
I guess her cult turned her into a lesbian as well.
@@christinesevigny8252, that is the worst part. I wish I had never learned that about her. I wonder if that was the cause of her divorce.
That's really awful to hear! I got to meet her, as well as the dude (kind of a dick tbh) and crew when they filmed an episode on MCAS Tustin (the giant wooden hangars were supposed to be Russian IIRC) when I was in the Marine Corps. She was SUPER sweet and very accommodating to the fans of the show who had stopped by to watch the production. Somewhere, there is a picture of a bunch of us young Marines with her and the head hair stylist (who was also super cool and had shown us around and introduced us to everyone) with my head held up against her boob because I was the last in the picture and the shortest of the group (she was like 8 in taller in heels). I have a pretty dumb look on my face I'm sure. Unfortunate.
@BjoyrnKuma you are jealous idiot
Meg was my favorite actor on the show. I can't believe they left her out.
Left out Andrea Parker..caitland pike also
Loved the show so much that I purchased the series all 10 season's.
Ditto 👍
Husband speaking - I watched all 10 years of JAG, a little upset when it ended but picked right up on NCIS. What man didn't like MAC, she
is terrific in GOOD WITCH . I am age 78, and put in 4 years in the Air Force 1963 - 67. Saw President Kennedy when he landed AF -1 on
our base in Moses Lake, Wash.
Viet Nam Era Vet! Thank you for your service!
I was an enlisted young man in the U.S. Navy back in the early 70's and was in an aviation squadron so I always like shows that show military aircraft, especially the great F-14, and military ships. Drooling at Catherine Bell was just the icing on the cake...!!
I as in the Navy in the early seventies but never saw any Marines that looks like Catherine Bell unfortunately
@@slundgr Maybe if I had been an officer and was around female officers...?? At our base, N.A.S. Norfolk, the female enlisted barracks was across the street from our barracks, and what few girls that we saw sure didn't look like Catherine Bell either...!!!
@@marbleman52 I was at NTC and Naval Station in San Diego, and I made a WESPAC. Many of the women in the Navy then were lesbian and/or not very attractive at all. The relatively attractive heterosexual Waves used it to their advantage.
I was stationed in Norfolk, NOB, and Little Creek, Naval Amphib base, and actually the Naval women on NOB were some pretty women, I remember meeting one of our radioman at the enlisted club and he had these two hot women and they looked like models and I asked him where we met them and he says to me "They were on the tug that brought us in today" . Another time we had some EMs that's Electrican Mates from SIMA, that's a repair facility come on board and they were looking for "shorts" in the wiring and there was a blonde sailor and she was pretty cute, I only wished if she was gonna be climbing all over my "rack" she would take off her "boondockers" first.
Wow. I was Navy in the early 70’s . Guess you guys didn’t think much of the women.
Scientology..... UGH! .... What a mistake on humanity.
Just like all respect for her this woman when the word Scientology came up. What a phony religion
ItS ....GOOD OLD CIA MK ULTRA MIND SWIPE...
Right Catherine Bell is almost perfect, EXCEPT for that. I was extremely upset to learn my childhood and adult celebrity crush was a nutcase.
@@ericvacca551 yup! And don’t forget promoting witchcraft via the”Good Witch”! As if the Scientology isn’t enough to buy you a ticket to 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@anonymousposter4481 yea I do not have a problem with actress playing the character of a witch. Its entirely different to pretend than it is to believe that aliens live inside the earth and to take a 1950's sci fi book and believe it to be a true and correct religion.
JAG was one of my all-time favorite TV shows. It's excellence was obvious every week of the series. The acting was always first-rate. So, too, the writing, the direction, and almost every set JAG ever used. Semper Fi to the entire JAG crew, as I consider this THE best television series of the past 25 years if not longer. Andy McKane, former Navy junior, former Navy hospital corpsman, and full time Pearl Harbor historian of the past 40 years. (P.S. The submarine DOLPHIN story based at Pearl and operating north of Oahu on or about 7 Dec. 1941, had some very realistic ideas within its script. I've no doubt that our naval leadership, Army, too, including our President, were definitely not surprised by the KIDO BUTAI in their raid on that "Day of Infamy." That said, I strongly believe U.S. military and presidential leadership acted in the best interest of humanity. I stand one hundred percent with our military leadership of WWII.. Andy McKane, a.k.a. Pearl Harbor McKane, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii, 10 October 2023.
Catherine was always beautiful. For some reason when she got older she actually succumbed to the “if I get lip injections I’ll stay beautiful” mind control. No, no they really don’t have that effect,Catherine.
So that's what happened. I wondered what happened to her mouth.
The Wall is undefeated.
I can’t think of very many women who were better looking after Botox or plastic surgery where they had to stretch their skin like cowhide to get out the wrinkles Is Catherine Bell’s partner the Scientologist she lives with now?
Clear water Fl. thinking.
Yea, she really messed herself up. Such a beautiful woman and yet so insecure about her looks to do that to herself
ZJag was the greatest tv show ever. I could watch it all over again. Thanks.
Good informative doc.I loved JAG,favorite actor was BUD,he seemed the most real military person on the show for me.Served 4yrs US Navy and 6yrs US Army, while in the navy served aboard USS KittyHawk(ships company)and USS Roosevelt(attached to an airwing)VF-84 (ole skull and cross bones)jollyrogers.I loved serving aboard carriers,my shipmates called me the-ENGAGER.Because I'd talk to anyone about anything at anytime,anywhere.LOL.Because of my motor mouth and people liked me,people would go out their way to help me,but I didn't abuse people's KINDNESS.GO NAVY!!!
I love JAG and all the shows of the time. It was serious enough but had comedy and romance. Made me feel good unlike the shows of today.
my name Claire lol
😍😄😄😄😄
I miss this show! David was such a LOVE!
This was very well done, thank you.
I have the DVD set of all 10 seasons. This is my favorite show of all-time. All of the characters are great. I noticed that some of the actors played different roles but you have to have delved into the show to realize them.
Great show I watch it every day
Wait, I met Catherine doing extra work (as a Marine, of course!) on an episode of JAG. She was married at the time, and now she's a gay Scientologist? WTF? She could have married ME and left that silly cult! Aw man!
I wonder if that is what caused the end of her marriage and ultimately her divorce. After learning this I can never enjoy watching anything she is in anymore.
@@richardcline1337 Catherine Bell has been a member of Scientology for a long time. Catherine's ex-husband doesn't talk much about his divorce from Catherine.
But when it happened. It hit like a ton of bricks. Catherine moved in with her new girlfriend. And the only way Catherine's ex husband can communicate with Catherine is through Catherine's Scientology lawyer. So in his words. He still has no idea why Catherine Bell left a divorced him. She won't talk to him at all.
David James Elliott...what a handsome guy!
I loved Harmon Rabb, Jr. David James Elliott did a fantastic job in that role
Ugh... Mac was SUCH a smokeshow and my crush as a kid watching this growing up 😍😍
It was a great show. It took me a year or two to finally see the season finale on reruns .
My late father loved watching JAG. I remember him talking about it once or twice. I love watching it's spin off series NCIS. A great fan of GNY SGT Leroy Jethro Gibbs, USMC and his rules and of course Agent Ziva David.
Love watching and rewatching Jag. Have been seeing Harn and Max on NCIS LA and hope there would be a new seasons of Jag I feel making more Jag season would be a big hit expressly with Max and Harm getting back together, can't wait to see
My mother is 70 years old this year, she often watches this movie again, and those times I see her cry.
JAG was one of the first shows I started to binge watch via streaming.
Wow , that was the best review of jag that I have seen , period ❤
Always liked the episodes with the F-14s. And of course Catherine Bell was and still is Easy on the EYES 👀
True ... but I still missed Tracey Needham's Marilyn Monroe vibe and always hoped she'd come back
Great show with a great cast! Makes me nostalgic for the days when Americans & their politicians could come together to put the good of their country above themselves🇺🇸
@Katje Smallsum yup ever since 1935 somewhere it went downhill slowly and now that all the shit is coming to light we have the chance to change it make a better future.
Too bad that they couldn't find an American to play the lead character...
I am a retired Army officer, but I truly love JAG. It has it all; mystery, adventure, military ideals, romance, travel, comedy etc. There is nothing Harm and Mac could not accomplish as a team. It almost makes me want to become a Navy JAG, if it was like on TV. My favorite of all the actors on JAG it is Catherine Bell, although all were excellent. Catherine is beautiful, sexy, a brilliant actress that made the team of Harm and Mac work. If I could find a woman like her, with the TV qualities of JAG, to enter into my life I would be externally grateful. Catherine is one in a million and an exceptional actress. I think I have fallen in love.
and Catherine Bell is a lesbian. Better luck next time.
David James Elliott was and still is my favorite character on the show of course! I love this show! Have watched all the episodes!!!! I also loved the love saga between David James Elliott and Catherine Bell. Was very sad when she married someone else on the show and was very upset when it went off the air. Thank You For All The Memories!
Mac never married Brumby and in the last JAG episode Harm and Mac did get together. We find out what happened after the coin toss on NCIS LA 2 years ago.
Omg! Really! Oh Man! I missed it!!! I’m going to have to see that one!! So Happy 😀 THANK YOU FOR Telling Me.❤️❤️
@@wandabosworth63 you're welcome. The NCIS LA episodes were we find out what happened after the last JAG episode are the last two episodes season 10 and the first of season 11.
Good evening and how are you doing today?
@@ericvacca551 Unfortunately they did not live happily ever after. Harm always had commitment issues. Maybe Mac did, also, being an alcoholic
Mrs. Bell is still stunningly beautiful. She was and is my favorite.
Mac is my favorite character in JAG !
Miss this show!
Love the fact that Harm was working at a Blue Beacon truck wash when a crew pulled their RV in and the producer hired him on the spot! You'll see a picture and explanation on the wall at many of them to this day.
I have the complete DVD series of JAG.I still enjoying watching it to this day.
I have also the complete DVS series. I love it 👍🙋♀️
I’m retired army butJAG was awesome , I watched this show everyday and loved the military aspect of the compared to others. The cast was on point and my favorite character outside of Rabb was Admiral Chegwidden…….he was hilarious and didn’t take no crap from anyone including that punk ass secretary of the navy (forgot his name)……lol 😎✌🏾
This is the greatest...JAG, loved the romance between Rab, and Mack
As a teen I had huge crush on Catherine Bell. I also enjoyed her in Good Witch... Didn't realize Scott Lawrence was in Murphy Brown, I watched it a few times with my dad as he loved that show.... As far as the NCIS spin offs, I only could get into the first NCIS as I really enjoyed the team's chemistry with Gibs and the gang.
David James Elliott.... YUMMY !!! 💋💋♥️♥️🥰🥰
One of my favorite shows of all time !!! the first time I saw Catherine Bell I couldn't talk for 2 hours!!! Still her biggest fan!
Hard to believe that all the beautiful ones like Katherine become Lesbonians.
My parents were big fans of Jag when it ran; am enjoying reruns of the series.
I watched JAG every week, loved the show & it's cast, but Catherine especially! I was really disappointed when it ended! As for Army Wives, what a great series that was, too! A very sad ending to it! The Good Witch was another fun series also! As far as the spin offs, i watch all of them!
I liked Rabb!!!! And yes too all three NCIS’s
I loved this show!!! The best ❤❤❤
Still plays everday weekday on ME TV, channel 26-4 in Chicago..At about 10 or 10:30am central time..It's on the H&I Network as well 👍
JAG reruns are currently airing on WGN 9:00-11:00AM Eastern time. I absolutely loved the show.
You can also catch JAG reruns on Pluto TV.
Bring it back!!! Time for a reboot of this fabulous show!
EXACTLY!!!
I enjoyed every episode of jag, NCIS, etc. But a favorite character is hard to pin down.
Love all of his programs
Long time fan of the series I was to young when it aired to watch many of the episodes. But my Mother liked to watch it. So the few episodes I caught got me interested enough to years later watch every season several times. Truly makes me nostalgic thinking back to those days. The quality of TV series was on completely different level, unlike the current tv series where very few are even decent and those run the risk of being cancelled after 1 or 2 seasons.
I loved Nanci Chambers and John Jackson's acting the most. She was villainous and fun and JJ was someone you wanted to walk into battle with.
Lovely and very beautiful serie TV!!!.. Unforgettable!!!... ♥️♥️♥️
Claro q me acuerdo de la serie JAG. La veía a menudo. Catherine...preciosa mujer!!! Saludos
Catherine Bell is an easy favorite of mine with her great mix of genes. She was great in that magical Hallmark series.
loved it. catherine became a true eyepick despite she joined late.
Nice to see military officers in TV series who have been trained how to salute properly.
Thanks 4 that walk down memory lane
I must say that I have no problem with hammering the like button. I love your voice. It's the most pleasant narrator voice I hear on CZcams. And that's a fact.
I wish you all the best and greetings from Norway.
STILL watch JAG..
(H & I)wed for 5 hours. Great show
Love them all. They went together so well...miss that show.
Lll
love this show.. still showing on Yes tv..I tape and watch all episodes ..Harm and Mac my fav actors...
David James Elliott is a super friendly person off-screen. I met him while doing security for a movie made in Mobile, Alabama in 2021.
I love Jag, all the actors are great. I have a soft spot for JJ can see his love for his team .
I never watched a single episode of this show but Catherine bell looked beautiful back in the day! 😍
She still does. Don’t believe the picture they showed here. She went on to do Hallmark shows.
You should check the show out. It was my father's favorite show and I've watched the first 7 seasons numerous times. I've got 6 episodes in my dvr right now. The show focuses on honor, integrity and duty. Bellisario was a genius.

It looks like she had some sort of face lift. She was gorgeous. Really sad that she became a cultist. Mac would never have.
@@liman42, and a damned lesbian as well. Hard to believe.
@@richardcline1337 Her and Kelly McGuilles of Top Gun...and, of course, Portia D' Rossi. Can't join...but can sure watch.
I would be hard pressed to find a favorite character, but I would have to say that Jackson and Elliot are my favorite. As a US Navy vet I can say that both men play the role of leaders I have known while in service. Jackson played the role of the two Chiefs I served under... both had red stripes. Elliot reminds me very much of my ship's first Captain. A good sailer, and a good Captain.
Fullly loved this show
This was a Great Show !
I love JAG , I can not choose a favourite character as I loved them all . I have recently started watching it again from the beginning.
I love all the NCIS shows ..not got Hawaii in Uk yet .
I loved Cathrine in The Good Witch too . As for Donald - any show he has been envolved in I have liked
Catherine Bell ! By far the best one of the cast of "JAG" ! Great actress, beautiful and SEXY as all get out ! She grabbed my attention immediately and kept me glued to every episode !
Catherine Bell number 1 and loved her role in The good witch movie no one could have possibly done better totally awesome actress 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wait. Are we just going to not talk about two of my favorites? Gunny was awesome!
And Webb was my favorite jerk. Because he was a jerk with a grinch-sized heart. 😊
Catherine Bell still looks great and she was my favorite carracter in the serie
I have the first 2 seasons of Jag, I watch at times on dvd. I do know that N.C.I.S was a spin off from JAG, and I all of NCIS on dvd. Also a fan of Magnm P. I. and AIRWOLF.
When I was in the Navy in the '80s It was called NIS and we came back from deployment, and they were waiting for us at the pier, and I guess they got a tip that some guys were smuggling in Hashish that got from some Morroccan marines. When I reported on board in Charleston SC. the ship had just gotten out of the yard and we had men who had their personal vehicles brought on board to return them to our homeport in Norfolk. They loaded the cars and a sailboat, and one of the cars was a bullet proof 85-86 Chevy Impala/ Caprice Classic for the NIS. and were bringing that to either Puerto Rico or Guantanamo bay. I don't remember. But I knew it was 1986 because when we got to GITMO, and I stepped onto the pier, I was headed to the exchange, I heard an explosion, the guys later told me it was Space shuttle blown up.
Still watch JAG on H&I TV every weekday .
I remember fans of Rick Springfield Fan's arguing that Elliott was really Rick. Lol 😂
i loved the series from the first episode on. that's why i later became a lay judge in the swiss army for 8 years.
I love our Military, and always enjoyed shows like this one.
Way better than NCIS. JAG is still tops on my list.

My FAVORITE SHOW!!!!!!
I like the JAG series , the entire 10 season on DVD I bought.
I never really watched JAG but I love the original NCIS. I need to find the seasons after season 15 of NCIS. I think my Dad had a calendar that had a nude Catherine Bell photo in it. 😆
Hello and how are you doing today?
Yeah, I am bummed that netflix just has the first 15 seasons. I suspect I'll have to get the DVDs via them, but it is so great streaming them (over and over and over).
Bell had 2 great attributes on her resume which keep people like me coming back week after week
Love this show ❤
I got the THE FULL picture of Miss Bell in that military cap 😆
This show premiered while I was deployed to Saudi in ‘96, from Germany. We started catching it here and there on AFN, and while it was good, we got a few laughs from it. Apparently Army JAG works a LOT differently than in the Navy. And the Navy seemed to have a lot more murderers and spies in their midst than we did lol! Most of our experiences with JAG was over people getting DUI’s, popping hot on a drug test, or over BS Article 15’s.
You missed a role Patrick Labyorteaux, he returned to NCIS in 2018 as Capt Bud Roberts.
Loved this show. Wish they would of made more but they had a good number of seasons.
Yep it was "Jag-off" time when Catherine Bell joined the cast!
I call the JAG officers, jagoffs…
