Sorry but to me they sound poorly coupled. It’s like Otello is drowning Desdemona by the sheer volume of his voice and interpolated high notes. Battle is by far the more refined here despite her well known mannerisms.
I agree. There’s a huge gap between the sizes of their voices. Battle is a light lyric soprano while Domingo sounds too dark and heavy. I think he’s fine in lyric repertoires and he’s always very emotional in his singing, but Battle is way more “gentle” and as a result they sound poorly coupled indeed.

HI do u have placido with Elena zaremba Carmen opera? Also placido & Denise graves Carmen opera ? A lot health problems would cheer me up if u have can't upload I would pay u put on dvd let me know either way thank u
