Impressive. I would rather pan the duplicate vocals instead of delaying them. Also anyone who wants to try this should bear in mind to understand ''moderation''. Great video sir.
This is an old studio trick. It works very well in moderation especially if u can pitch the duplicates down or up just a little. Just be careful because it does cause phasing using this technique. Nice vid.
I could hear the phasing in it on the first duplication that was done. I agree, a mild detune would help and give a bigger feel. Nobody sings exact, so that would give that feel.
@@user-xr2dy3rr5r You can use the pitch shift effect in the effects section. It's default setting is a slight stereo detune which makes a great chorus. No need to dublicate the channel.
@SuperMBARutgers2013 There is a Chorus/ Chamber combo and a Delay/ Chorus combo. Or the dimensional Chorus. Experimentation is the way to find the right amount for you.

I think panning the additional voices will be more effective than the delays, or better still add the delay with panning

Can you detune on this board?

you can also add a chorus into your effects and put it on a tap.
This is genius!!!!! Especially considering it saves on using up M32's effects slots
Great idea, thanks for the tip!
Woooww this is awesome. Great job
Been doing this for years, don’t use it all the time but definitely been doing it

Also, if you "panned" them, the stereo image would be incredible. Do try it. 😊
Thanks.... Can we do this with the Midas MR 18?
I want that desk!
Yes please! 😊
I mean, you could just use reverb on the choir mics.
Good one bro
Thank you
My brother you are creating a phase problem...please listen the voices carefully...it's full of phase...it's not even chorus...
Exactly....... that's what the FX plug-ins should be used for instead
@@coscrupi Which of the FX plug ins is most ideal

Maybe not play the singer while you are talking. Can't understand a word your saying.
Yeah this was annoying he could have paused it
