    I watched three vid clips on the 3-Point Hitch Installation and this explanation is by far the best. Great lighting, clear explanation and easy to follow. Thank you for the help.

    Just got my 2025R with the backhoe. All my 3 point parts were in a box with no directions. Thanks this video, it was a big help and made for quick install.

    Edit -- I case it helps someone else who has all the parts unassembled. I found out the hole in the arms isn't the same distance from each end, it has a long and short end. Short end goes toward the back of the tractor, with the welded seams turned inward. Once you figure that out it eliminates a bunch of potential problems.

    Well done. Thanks.

    Always great information love the videos. I have a 1023E so when I remove the cutting deck for winter, the lever that raises and lowers the deck, raise the rear hitch? And is there a lock out valve to hold that hitch in the position, thanks for great video.

    Thanks for this. I have oat my tractor for just over two years. Purchased with a backhoe and I have not had any other attachments (besides loader and mower deck), so I never messed with the 3 point til now. I picked up drag to clean the wife’s riding arena up. Looks like even though these parts have been in there box,I am missing some nuts for linkage arms where sway bars attach. It went together quick otherwise though👍🏻.

      Autocorrect did not do me any favors up above. I need to look these over before posting, otherwise people will be asking what it is I exactly do when oating a tractor for two years.

      Great, I am making a ton of homemade cereals with all the oating that little Deere can do!

      The same happened to me. All my parts are unassembled and much of the linkage hardware is missing, including the lock nuts for the turnbuckles and the pins for the arms. I'm having to order parts to fit it together. Such a pain for such a simple looking thing.

    Is it best to install the 3 pieces separately always? Ex "If you keep an imatch or other Quick hitch attached" is there a way to efficiently install a 3 point system with a quick hitch as one unit? i.e. "Utilizing crates/pallets or some other means"

    I purchase a 1025r used with a backhoe on it. The seller did not have the 3 point hitch arms and linkage. Do you know were I could get the pieces I would need. I know I could go to a dealer to get what I need but buying each part individually really adds up quickly

      i've found no place that sells them as a unit. Tractor salvage yards might work but I've read several posts from others in your and my boat and they all eventually 'bit the bullet' and spent the $800+ to get a JD 3pt hitch :(

    And make sure Deere has the parts together correctly. Took me 3 times with the box blade tilting before i realized the right arm had the long side toward the tractor instead of the short end. IE: the sway link bolt hole is NOT exactly ion the center.

      @dougsaroma Před rokem +1

      Very much this. I'm finding out the hard way and don't know which end goes where.

      Now I leave it all assembled and attached to my box blade. Still did the sharpy markings and arrows with dremmel.

    Are the main support arms exactly the same for both sides or is there a left & right arm.

    • @glmccready
      @glmccready Před 2 lety +1

      The Adjustable arm goes on the right, looking from the back. FYI: The bolt hole is NOT exactly in the middle, the short end goes toward the tractor. My lft arm was correct but the right was NOT. Took me a few uses of my box blade tilting before I figured out DEERE had the Rt arm reversed.

      @@glmccready Thanks! I saw that in another video a long time ago, but couldn't remember which way they go. And it was not covered in this video.
