I really enjoyed the fact that it's unedited and unscripted. It keeps the organic flow and interaction between you two and besides what is said and covered by talking, shows the chemistry you have. Really loving your channel Dave, keep up the great work! I'm learning a lot and having fun at the same time!

I'd rather interviews be like this than some set up string of questions rapid fire. Chemistry and natural conversation like this make it more interesting to me. Feels like it becomes more relatable and engaging in a sense. Keep the quality content pumping!

Met Travis at Summer Slaughter and saw him perform literally 1 foot in front of me and it was as close to an out of body experience as I have ever gotten. I got a little tongue tied meeting him and got nervous as hell so he laughed a little bit but it was all good lol. Tip for any future Cattle Decap concert goer that stands in front of Travis for the set...learn to dodge spit, snot, and massive amounts of water from his headbanging. It's 110% worth it though. Extremely hyped for Death Atlas...Bring Back The Plague is literally now one of my top 3 favorite Cattle songs...that outro is fucking amazing.

I'm really glad Dave Otero is still Cattle's producer to this day. He connects with travis deeply and comprehends exactly the way he wants this record to be designed. Travis and Dave are like bread and butter. They smack together and create... MAGIC.
For me Death Atlas is best album in 2019. Great interview.
The evolution of cattle decap is profound! To me, Travis is one of the best vocalists in the world. As crusty and caustic as he may project, there is a Devine harmony in which is felt. Kudos to you @Dave Otero for honing the mix into pure energy! \m/> >.<

I mean it's a VERY small difference - but i have to vote for Travis (sorry Dave) on the high pitch thing - Cattle has this very particular thing of hardly repeating parts ... sometimes it feels even a little uncomfortable - like - your brain is expecting something and it doesn't happen - but the beauty of that is that you keep going back listening to it - and eventually you do make it your own and fully enjoy it - LOL i hope i made sense there hahahahah
The vocals on Death Atlas are the best sounding vocals Travis has laid to tape in my opinion. His highs on this album are not human, ESPECIALLY on the title track, holy shit.
I cannot wait for this album. The first two released tracks are hands down the best engineering Iâve heard. This is the new metal industry standard.

Absolutely loved the interview. That 47 minuets flew by fast. My only complaint would be I would have loved to hear more about the inspiration for the vocals, song and album themes, stuff like that.
Already pre-ordered the $150 mega version about 2 weeks ago from IndieMerchStore. Also, saw Cattle during the Summer Slaughter Tour in Rhode Island (Got the track-list and shook Josh's hand)! SOOOO EXCITED!!

I went to the Cattle Decapitation concert here in Portland, OR on Dec 18th wearing my Allegaeon Stellar Tidal Disruption shirt, got a handshake and a smile from Travis after the show. I had no idea you did both albums until just now!
