I like them, reliable and simple. Basic is good. Fancy parts make fancy repair bills.
Absolutely
Four wheeler: no oil
CLE:
CLE: turns on four wheeler and revs engine
why would you rev a cold motor
Because it sounds better reving a cold motor
To warm it up quicker maybe...
I cant find the video where you fixe the ATV ?
Hopefully that oil was wet clutch certified.
Just a tip if anyone ever wants to clean the battery. Use a can of Coca Cola. It's the best thing ever for that. Seen a glass of coke completely dissolve a tooth over night.
J Holcomb Hillsboro Ohio if u don't have a bat u can pull start them kind I got one. But has a bad oil leak on it right now.
Thanks
Do you still have the atv? I've had several bayou 220 which is the same atv with a slightly larger bore.
I still have it. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt now.
@@CountryLivingExperience if you had a po box I could send you a new carb...put a brand new demon carb on my 220 and it blew up a month later
That is incredibly nice of you. We do have a p.o. box. - Eric Zaddock, P.O. Box 482, Troup, TX 75789
@@CountryLivingExperience ok man I'll send it out Tuesday
Thank you.
That atv has a Recoil starter
My 250 has problems with the push start button and the engine. I'm also missing a pull cord on the side of the engine smh
Any tips on the electric push start button?
Sounds like you can't start it at all. You are going to have to replace the start button if it is broken or try to trace an electrical problem if you have one. Good luck
This is an old comment, but I thought I'd reply because I have an '05 KLF250A and diagnosed the push-start issue right after "inheriting" it :D
"Push start Issue"
Check to make sure your battery has power. If it does not, obviously replace the battery and then try again. If that doesn't solve it, check your starter relay (it's under the seat, near the battery; long, cylindrical object with two terminals on top). If you're comfortable around electricity, grab a long-stem screwdriver with a rubber handle, or one that will allow you to hold onto it while completing a circuit (and not using you to do it lol). Stick the metal part of the screwdriver across both starter relay terminals and see if the bike cranks and then turns over. If it does, and your battery is tested good, then you have a bad starter relay unit. Replacing one takes all of 5 minutes with some basic tools.
As for the pull start, if you don't have the cord, and the spring is missing, you'll need to get the replacement OEM kit/parts (spring, cord) by googling RockyMountainATVMC and then finding their OEM parts section for your specific ride. Once you get the parts, you can use a generalized pull start install guide, such as this one (czcams.com/video/MC_Gj_Pi1jw/video.html), to install your own pull cord.
Good luck!

Side note: I'm currently in the process of tearing down the entire bike and rebuilding it from the ground up. I've recently purchased a 2020 Honda Rubicon Deluxe, and so now the KLF250A has become my project :D
Next time change the oil before starting it
Fish21802 exactly he was Erving it high and it had barely any oil🤦🏼♂️
What year
2009
Mine won’t start and it’s because of the carbeurator
Take out off and clean it really good
It’s running because you put oil at the proper level lol
By your channel logo, I can assume you are sda. I ask you to review your character in light of your rude comments on my channel. Be an example of Christ.
Sounds like your idle is set to low
We got it worked out.
Country Living Experience just out of curiosity what was wrong with it? I'm trying to get my wife's 250 bayou running, it's not getting spark. I think it's the coil but we will know for sure when the new one gets here tomorrow
It actually was a combination of a few things. The needle in the carb was not seating correctly because the rubber was worn out on it, the floats were slightly bent, and the throttle cable was sticking inside it's tube. We rebuilt the carb and then sprayed wd40 down inside of the cable which loosened it up. That helped a ton.
why would you try to start it ,you said there was not any oil in the atv ?
You should stick to farming or what ever you do, not trying to be mean but you are going to fuck something up
First, do not use profanity on my channel. Second, a kind person would offer constructive criticism about what I did or said wrong. I will indulge you briefly to ask that you clarify what I apparently "eff'ed" up. Waiting.....
