IM 88 yrs old now but still love thrifting its a joy to watch your u tube videos. your ironstone is to dye for .and those crocks oh be still my heart. I’m not a tree topper person either, mainly because I’ve never found anything I really liked for it. I absolutely love how you’ve decorated, and I like your Santa collection. Some of them are rather creepy but they’re still really cute. We love kitties, and I’m delighted Peach decided to participate today. Our Little Kitty( who is far from little) is our very special baby, and a sweet, spoiled one at that! Lol

My uncle had one of these “creepy” Santas and every year of our childhood we have pictures with him. Over the years he lost a boot and my uncle and 2 cousins have passed away. My mother has promised him to me to carry on the tradition and to me he’s not creepy at all but full of treasured memories!

Oh my word. I will look for Santa mugs everywhere. I got a whole set of plastic or celluloid, I don’t know what they are but so they look cute in an old glass metal top cookie jar. Love all of your decor! I think with storing candy canes is more of not putting them someplace damp or humid they get more bendy than anything. I have found some pushed back in my desk at school and they were fine. Ones in a bin in the garage. Not so much but I don’t know if they would still display well. My problem is getting them out of the box without snapping them. Love it all so much!!!!!!

Your future grandchildren will love your long long house. Perfect for playing bowling alley. I used to scrape the Eagles Brand can out to lick. But wouldn’t open a whole can to eat. But guess what? I have loved watching you do all the Christmas things. You are very inspiring. I now have more Santa mugs this year, thanks to you, lol. (Not vintage, but hobby lobby, Walmart, and even one from Walgreens!) I’m not really a red person, even for Christmas but, this year, I’m seeing a bunch of red in my house. I love to make quilts and even got some with red done for this year. Thank you so much for helping me along.
Everything looks beautiful, especially with the pop of red. So festive. As a collector, my theory is if it can be seen through glass cabinet doors, I can enjoy it without it cluttering up my life. We still have to function!! I am looking forward to trying some of the cookie recipes. Not a chocolate lover, but lemon and coconut are my favorites!

I live in a 130+ year old farmhouse and I have no drapes or curtains I love the windows on their own.
Love that you don’t put curtains up!! We don’t either!! We replaced all of our picture windows and I mean, who would cover them up!! It would close us in way too much! Your home is FABULOUS and very long! I love your decorations ❤. How you do that and make it look uncluttered is beyond me! Thank you for sharing your home❤❤. I love everything about your decorations! I have an old Santa mug that was my 60+ husband’s when he was young. I’ve put a bottle brush tree in it. place an unopened can of sweetened condensed milk in a pan and cover with water. simmer for an hour to make dulce de leche. Great on toast or as a sauce for bread pudding. Loved the tour.
