PUMPKIN ROLL RECIPE
3 EGGS
1 CUP SUGAR
3/4 CUP PUMPKIN
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 TEASPOON NUTMEG
2 TEASPOONS CINNAMON
CREAM TOGETHER
ADD 3/4 CUP FLOUR
SPREAD ON TO COOKIE SHEET
BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 20 MINITUES
CREAM CHEESE FILLING
1 8 OUNCE CREAM CHEESE
1/4 CUP BUTTER
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
CREAM TOGETHER
1 CUP POWDER SUGAR
COOL CAKE FOR 5 MINS
THAN CAREFULLY REMOVE CAKE FROM PAN
ONTO TOWEL AND ROLL UP (LET SIT 15 MINS)
THAN UNROLL ADD FILLING AND REROLL UP INTO CLING WRAP
PUT IN FRIDGE TO SET UP
FREEZE IF NOT EATING WITHIN A DAY FOR FRESHNESS

Our 1869 church had beautiful pews. Some of the ppl wanted chairs instead, and a few of us die-hards were dead set against getting rid of them. We were voted against and most of the pews were sold. But our pastor, did a sweet thing. All the ppl who wanted to keep the pews, he gave us each a pew. They were 12 ft. long , too long to fit anywhere, so he cut them down to 6 ft. He never said he was doing it, and I was shocked when he brought it into my house! It is my most prized antique.
That was so very kind of him to do that. Even more meaning coming from your own church ❤
Cleaning items was my mothers favorite part. She would stain treat starch and iron linens. She loved filling the sink with soapy water and washing her glass finds. She would decorate her dining room table every holiday.
That shelf and pew are wonderful together! So pretty!! ❤

Yvonne I just love yalls house. You remind me so much of me. My husband and I stayed at auctions but it got to a point we had to stop because it becomes additive and we had "stuff" stuck back in a couple of trailers on our farm and it became to much even though I had a booth all my life until now and I finally gave it up. Your house reminded me of mind with so much antiques, vintage, old, etc that you don't find in a box store and thats how I decorated our home. I love all your good finds.

I stick the little furniture pads on the bottom of my crocks so that moving them about to clean, I don’t scratch my flooring. I also use my round brush that comes with the vacuum to “dust” things like that horse and little pig dude. Love your decor!❤❤

I was hoping the the simple wood coat rack was going to stay…add a piece of wood along the top to make a shelf and decorate it. Love the white shelf but the other one I feel ties in better.

I love the scale in the window.❤ The first thing I do is get the air compressor out and get the thick layer of dust off first lol 😂 then wipe and wash after.👍🏼💨🪣🧽💧🫧
I'm so jealous of your horse! That swiffer is a great tip. I might use that in combination with my go-to cleaning tool which is a pastry brush or chip or paint brush. My mom used a pastry brush that she wrote "dust" on the side of (to avoid confusion) and it worked great on fabric and getting dust off parts that were hard to clean around. I still do the same today!
I found a scale like yours and bought it two years ago, and it’s still not up. Absolutely LOVE that rocking horse! ❤❤❤ My hubs likes to be in the kitchen too. Isn’t it wonderful!

Our dogs toys were always lost under the sofa, I pushed a gray pool noodle under the front. No toys under the sofa anymore 😊

@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney thick gray foam pipe wrap from Menards would work too. My daughter in law does daycare and does this too so toys don't get lost under the sofa🙂 Good luck

Love all your finds. It really caught my attention when you were showing us the horse. I have one almost identical to it that I purchased at a garage sale several years ago. Mine still has the stirrups attached and real horse hair for the tail and mane. I have been trying to find out the history (age) and it's approximate value but haven't found anything close to it. Love how you displayed it!

That recipe looks and sounds delicious. I know if I try to make it what will happen. That cake will crack!! I just know it! My sister used to make something similar, a jelly roll. EVERY time I tried to make it, when I tried to roll it up in that towel, it cracked. My sons love everything pumpkin, though, so I might just try again. I’ll do it (since it’s freezable) ahead of time. Then, if it cracks, I‘lol have time to regroup.Let you know!
