Saw them open for a duel headliner of MH and Chimera in 04.
Damn show was absolutely insane. Robb got everyone so riled up during the MH set that the whole floor was a pit from the stage to the back bar.
After they played, the owner came up on stage and was pissed and threatened Chimera to not do the same or will be ban both bands from the venue

Fucking hellyeah man, I remember watching this years ago when I was younger and being blown away, still get emotional to this day just thinking about it...aaah those were the days man, everything was way better and easier for me back in the good old days
One of the best nights of my life. Tommy Vext got me backstage and Jordan from Still Remains took tons of pictures of group shots that I jumped in. Watched the show next to Monte Conner. Met everyone that night. Flynn is cool as shit. It was my metalhead dream come true. No one has to beloeve this but shit if Jordan ever posted those pics I would be in heaven.
Matt’s voice was trashed back then but his scream was still so good! I can see why he had to retrain himself. Soo good!

When Chimera and MH did a co-headline tour, they brought Trivium with them and was blown away by them.
Couldn’t ever understand the like Trivium would get from the metal press back in the day though.
So glad I have this album and the DVD. I'm never giving it up.
I remember being 11 years old on Times Square, seeing the advertisement for this. The album was amazing. But why now? I was hoping they were gearing up for another All Star Sessions.

I remember the Roadrunner United studio album & the Machine Head DVD Elegies came out around a week apart. I was a bit broke at the time so I had to choose. I bought the album & then bought Elegies the following week.
Those guitars are extremely 2005 lol. This is so sick though.
Those were actually Dimebag's personal guitars they played at this show. Rita Haney, Dimebag's 20 year partner, loaned these two guitars to them in order to play this event with.

Also knew about the Roadrunner United stuff, but never listened to it - Roadrunner had a pretty bad rep back then about how they treated bands.
