- How to do layering over @TheArmyPainter SpeedPaints via “glaze layering”. This miniature painting video features this resin miniature from @CreatureCaster .
A big part of this video shows the layering over Speed Paints of the blue skin. However, brief clips of the painting of the whole miniature, including the Gold NMM is shown.

Maybe you should do a more detailed step-by-step video about glayering over speedpaints/contrasts. Even after watching some old videos I still have doubts about the process. Thanks.

I am little confused which medium did you use...
I red that you used Cuttlefish Merlyn’s Medium in the comments but I saw that you also used Speedpaint medium mixed with Magic blue.
Anyway ... Which medium is better for glazing over speedpaints?

Incredible result! The only question is how do you get such a smooth result without staining (for example abdomen area the application was smooth), do you use medium to thin the paint?

I use Cuttlefish Merlyn’s Medium, but Vallejo Thinner Medium ( not glaze medium )will work too. 😊
I dont get the point of this video of you wont teach a procedure of how to make highlight colors, what should o mix with what?
Oh my bad! I did not say I use mediums to thin my paint? Sorry I think I assumed again, that people have seen my older videos. I have so many Glazing with medium videos. 😬
@@DonSuratos so basically you just take same speed paints and add mediums and this makes them highlights?
@@Qew77 Ah no no. Use any “normal” paints you have, then add mediums to add transparency a little bit and paint over the speed paints. I call it glaze layering. Not too much medium. Just enough to add more transparency.
@@DonSuratos thats basically what is the main question for me when it comes to highlighting, how to know or mix colors that will be good for highlighting, theres like 0 videos that have answer for that
