The Godfather trilogy, Scarface, Donnie Brasco, Scent of a Woman and all the movies Al Pacino is a living legend
An acceptance speech doesn't get much more genuine than that. A great man and a truly iconic actor.
Al Pacino is more humble than a humble pie. I have hope for humanity.
those shining eyes
Al pacino is one of the good guys in Hollywood. The fact he didnt win an oscar in the 70s for all his outstanding work is seriously a very perplexing thing. The 2 godfathers, serpico , dog day afternoon justice for all. Just unreal.
Greatest actor of all time.
I have a story about this wonderful person. He was my idol since I was very young. I was in NYC in 1999 for a business function and I heard that Al Pacino was performing on Broadway. I decided to stay an extra night and buy tickets to the the play. It was an amazing experience to see him perform LIVE. One of my favorite aspects of his talent is when he gets very angry and shouts his lines. Let me tell you, he did it several times in this play and I was in awe. Anyway, at the end of the play, I walked out of the theatre and there were plenty of people waiting outside. I realized that even if I decided to join the crowd, I would be nowhere near him as it must have been 10 feet wide either side. There was a car waiting on the street and I , assuming it was his car, approached the driver and asked if there was any way to meet Al as I wanted him to sign the Playbill. The driver told me to walk to the next intersection and if the traffic light turned red, he'd stop the car and Al will sign the Playbill. I didn't have much confidence in what he was saying but I decided to go ahead with his suggestion and walk to the next intersection. Sure enough, the car arrived at the intersection with a red traffic light, I approached the car and the window dropped and Al smiled and signed the Playbill. What a humble and kind human being. I'll never forget that 5 seconds I spent standing next to Al Pacino.
Michael Corleone's still right there !
Damn. Like, this dude deserves at least 5 Oscars.
How can you not love that man. The beauty about him is that he is just the way you see him he is. A friendly, lovely, down to earth gentlemen that I had the pleasure to meet! God bless
This touches my heart I forgot how much I love Al Pacino as an actor I don't know him personally but he seems like the real thing
Good job Sean for not telling Al's story "never give up your friends Dave"
Al is such a humble guy, he's the best ever in my opinion because I've never seen him in his characters, he becomes them completely.
Al's smile is always uplifting.
"Talking about me... me... whatever that is.." says Al Pacino in his speech. Oh, God! What an actor, what a man, what a great, great spirit! Already a legend! Love you from the bottom of my heart, Al Pacino!
All that talent and great acting and the man remains totally humble, never forgetting where he came from, class all the way. You killed it Al!
When Al Pacino speaks, every actor and artist listen, simple as that.
Such a down to earth humble guy, so handsome. He doesn't look like hes 67 here, looks younger than that. I always love his speeches
Put me in tears everytime!
the best actor of the entire millenium
