- We set out to answer our most challenging ‘THIS or THAT’ food questions by eating the subjects of each query back to back determined to present an official verdict!
Each round of this “Would you rather” food challenge seemed to increase in difficulty as we featured only our most beloved and nostalgic food and drink for us to pick one and kick one, of which proved to be quite soul crushing.
As difficult as the decision making process inherently was, we had a total blast with this question and answer game style mukbang and hope y’all enjoyed as well! If you did, please be sure to drop the video a ‘LIKE’ and subscribe if you’re new to our eating show!

Q: How do you not gain weight?
A: Endurance sports (primarily running, cycling and some resistance training) and extreme discipline & sacrifice with our daily diets is how we manage not to gain weight. We eat mostly vegetables, fruits, some whole grains and low fat dairy on the days outside these videos. The calories consumed in a food challenge or mukbang are the only calories consumed that day and sometimes the day following as well seeing our appetites are typically shot from so much food and the thought of eating is very off-putting. Two days out we are back to large amounts of vegetables and increase to maintenance from there. We also often eat most of our days calories in a smaller eating window (we frequently bounce between intermittent fasting & OMAD diet as it just seems to work with our lifestyles and eating preferences). Anyone with a larger than normal stomach capacity like us, the drive to push through the discomfort of a challenge like this, and a basic understanding of energy balance (calories in vs calories out) can do it with enough disciple and intention (not that we recommend it).
Also worth mentioning is that we do not exercise to burn the calories consumed in a video but rather we are able to consume higher calorie diets due to our participation in endurance activities and said discipline with our daily diets.

A: While we’re sure that type of video will eventually make its way out there, this is not a health and fitness channel and we intend to primarily focus on indulgent food entertainment. We’re still in the very early stages of establishing ourselves within this genre and we’re constantly experimenting and trying to improve upon our style to make our channel a unique experience. Food is our passion while fitness is our discipline so, while we currently only have the availability to produce one quality piece of content a week, fun food-centered videos is where we’ll be focusing our attention (and trust us, it’s more fun for all of us this way). That’s not to say it will never happen, but it’s not a top priority for us. - Zábava

I remember being given one of those ooey gooey bars by my aunt and having no idea what it was. I was blown away when I tried it because I was definitely not expecting it to be that good! Also, I grew up putting butter on my banana bread and thought it was absolutely delicious, but my mother always said that it was disgusting! I'm relieved to see that other people do it!

wow, this was such a fun video idea! it definitely did seem like tough decisions, but it was really interesting seeing you guys trying these things and then eventually crowning some winners. unfortunately, i can’t really participate in any of the rounds, apart from the first one, because i haven’t had any of the other foods. between the grilled cheese and mac and cheese though, i’d say it’d depend on what i’m in the mood for and also the type of cheese and quality and so on. right now, i’m kind of feeling a grilled cheese, but i know i’ve felt the opposite before too. that’s why it’s so hard!
just for fun though, this is what i imagine i might choose, atm at least:
round one: grilled cheese
round two: pb&j
round three: eclair
round four: chalupa
round five: banana bread
round six: obey gooey bars
buuuut, keep in mind that i have no clue what some of these taste like, so it might be entirely wrong haha.

Mac 'n Cheese BUT it would have to be baked to a nice golden brown on top with extra crispy edges- and then I would only eat the edges and the top layer. Next up would be PB & Marshmallow cut on the diagonal of course! Next would be the Eclair. After that would be the Quesarito. Then the zucchini bread with butter heated ever so slightly. Lastly, I would chose the birthday filled sandwich cookies- because I like sickly sweet (haha!!).

7:28 that is my childhood. Growing up my local bakery would make eclairs like that with the chocolate frosting on top. No other place does it that way. I wish the dairy place you guys go too would ship their food.

Round 2- Fluffernutter (Although I have never tried them side by side.. Hmm, I sense an experiment in the making 😆).

Sandwich cutting preference: Diagonal
Grilled cheese vs. mac n cheese: Probably usually mac n cheese but I think I'd also choose a homemade grilled cheese over KFC's mac n cheese. Just not really into their food.
Fluffernutter vs. PB&J: I haven't eaten either of them in ages but I think I'd be more inclined to pick the PB&J if I absolutely had to pick one. The fruitiness seems more appealing than the marshmallow stuff imo.
Cannoli vs. Eclair: I think I'd pick the eclair too I just really like the combination of the chocolate frosting on top and the cream in the middle. But I've never had a cannoli before.
Chalupa vs. Quesarito: Quesarito because it doesn't have the tomatoes but I haven't eaten either of them.
Banana nut bread vs. zucchini bread: I like banana bread but not banana nut bread, so I think I'd pick the zucchini bread.
Butter vs. Cream cheese: For those breads I think I'd pick butter too but cream cheese definitely works great for other foods. If I had to pick an all around winner though I think I'd also pick butter because it tastes great on everything pretty much and you can melt it and use it a lot in your recipes. It's overall more versatile than cream cheese.
Ooey gooey bars vs. sandwich cookies: I haven't eaten those desserts but I imagine the "ooey gooey" bar has texture similar to like a moist brownie so I think I'd pick that.

Great video! I agree with most of your decisions, some are pretty tough/close though. Only one I wasn't onboard with was the zucchini bread over banana bread. I still have to try those sandwich sugar cookies from Walmart, but first I'm picking up the pumpkin version
Growing up in Connecticut in the 1980s we totally had Fluffernutters frequently. When I moved to California and then Arizona no one had any idea what a Fluffernutter is.

Fun idea for a video. Thanks, guys. Making decisions around food is my jam! LOL. Not being a fan of zucchini, I can't imagine I'd like the zucchini bread, with or without butter! Having watched this, maybe I need to try it. I'm not a fan of pumpkin either, but I do like a slice of pumpkin bread. Maybe I just love the sugar LOL.

You should do that mac and cheese line up. Sounds fun (you'll have to make a home made one too lol!)

I think for the mac and cheese vs the grill cheese you should add some panko or bread crumbs on the mac and cheese so it has some texture, also maybe you will like al dente mac and cheese.

Cannoli (but I’ve never had a gourmet eclair)
Quesarito (never had one but I like quesadillas and burritos)
Banana Bread (haven’t had zucchini bread but not a fan of zucchini’s)
Butter (good quality butter on fresh bread all day)
Ooey gooey bar (never had one but I love blondies and I love the name)

i prefer zucchini bread too, but with butter, melted by slightly warming the bread in the micro so the butter melts; although, that pumpkin streusel loaf would be my absolute favourite!
This new subscriber's choices, Mac and Cheese, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Eclair, haven't eaten at Taco Bell in about 40 years so I'm skipping that choice, Banana Bread Loaf, Butter, Ooey Gooey Bar. Looking forward to more videos.

a mac and cheese show down would be fun to see; personally, i love ooey gooey grilled cheese sandwiches on thick multigrain artisan bread and lots of the more expensive cheeses like smoked gruyere, etc. as the fillings; even a regular grilled cheese sandwich is good; to one of the bread slices i add the thinnest smear of mustard, preferably dijon, (grey poupon) and that gives it just a touch more, yet subtle flavour

I think I agreed with everything except the eclair, or cannoli I’d go with cannoli but I’ve always been a cannoli girl. Even as a kid (I’m 56 now my daughter is 29 like you guys) my favorite birthday cake from a bakery would be a sheet cake chocolate with chocolate pudding and cannoli filling with whip cream frosting.
I cut mine the same way that Nate does, normally. Sometimes when the mood strikes, I do cut it diagonally too 😆. It just depends on the day.

Awesome video guys! As for sandwiches cut horizontal vs diagonal, for me it comes down to what gives the most consistent bread to filling ratio per bite. If a filling is evenly spread across the entire sandwich, you’re not going to see much difference. However, a lot of sandwiches are more stacked in the middle and so triangular sandwiches with their shallower angles allow you to bite just that little bit deeper more easily to get a better bread to filling ratio on those early bites. Plus, triangles just look cooler 😂

Grilled cheese wins for the textures: crunchy plus gooey.
PB&J wins for the potential variety. Fluffernutter is all sweet, jam is more nuanced.
I have to go with canolli again for the texture profile. Crunchy, soft, gooey. Also sweet plus tangy wins over all sweet.
I would have to be so high to eat Taco Bell that I wouldn't recognize it as food, so no vote on that one.
Zucchini bread is the winner for me because of the number of varieties I'vemade, including a double chocoiate chip recipe, but wow that was the hardest one.
Love the spread round. I've done some research lol and cream cheese is good on apple, blueberry, carrot, morning glory, as well as banana and zucchini muffins! Peanut butter is also really good on muffins! Butter is so nice on a warm bran muffin.
I'm a baker so I can't say I've ever eaten a grocery store baked good!
As much as I love pb&j's, I'd have to choose fluffernutter sandwiches (but I do have to be in the mood for it). Like Pete said, I am pretty much always in the mood for a pb&j (probably b/c of my love for pb). Just taste-wise for me? I'd have to choose fluffernutters. I'm sorry guys, lol. Although, you should try a fluffernutter sandwich after popping it into the microwave for 30 seconds. It is melty and gooey goodness. 🤤

most dairy upsets my stomach from overdoing it at points so i barely use cheese on stuff anymore.

Not sure if this has been said already, but y’all need to compare the Chalupa with the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. I used to be a Chalupa fan, then the CGC came out and I am forever converted. It’s is way better in my opinion 😊
