  • These gloomy autumn days have been going on for quite a long time.
    Luckily I'm in particularly good company ... and in peace and quiet we spend time together, the horse and I.
    "Ritam konja i magla"
    Prilično već dugo traju ovi sumorni jesenski dani.
    Srećom u posebno sam dobrom društvu ... i u miru i tišini vrijeme provodimo zajedno, konj i ja.

      You are right, absolutely. It seems to be a kind of lonesome feeling first but as soon as you get used on such the company it turns to be like undiscovered world.
      I can't wait my next trip with that horse.

      Yes, exactly. Maybe I couldn't have chosen a different title. In fact, at least in most of the films on this channel, I used minimal words, sometimes not at all. It was often my intention to try to introduce the viewer to situations in which I used to find myself. Pleasant or unpleasant, but mostly from nature, especially the wild ones that I always appreciated and adored the most.
      Sorry for the slight delay in my reply. Normally this does not happen to me and I always try to be correct.
      Thanks for the comment.

    Well the dreary weather didn't seem to bother either you and that horse that much...bravo Pavle. I admire your fortitude for not giving up in face of that weather. Going through that marshy area made me feel a little bit chilly. Nice to see that horse responding well to your commands. Very lovely video, my friend.

      Honestly, more I am riding more it makes me want to be in his company. It is very young horse. Needs to forget racing grounds and it is often not easy to calm nerves down. But with a lot of patience and care the result has to come. It all takes time ... and I see enough progress. There is even some affection gained between us.
      As you know, I haven't been riding for quite a long period of time, for years in fact and almost thought never will but this turned to be quite opposite than I expected.
      In the saddle again. I would never discover that area without that horse. But the most amazing thing is to feel the rhythm of that animal ... especially in the time when our lives became so fast and changes are happening so that we can't follow them at all. Horses played extremely important role in human history through thousands of years. They deserve to be highly respected because of that. While riding through that mist a lot of thoughts came on my mind ... then I realized that I wasn't alone and started talking with that beautiful creature. We discovered a lot of interesting details that I wouldn't even notice walking alone. So it seems we became quite good company. "So, will you come tomorrow, again?" ... I have seen this question in his eyes.,

      Here's another wise saying for you..."the back of a horse makes beggars of some and kings of others" and you deserve to be a king on that horse for the way you ride so full of confidence after such a long time. I think it's wonderful that you are really striking up a friendship that will be hard to break, both of you discovering new places in which to roam. Looks funny to see that greenery when we have snow here. Well my dear I wish you all the deepest pleasure as you continue training him out of his racing background. I know it's not easy but I also know how much pleasure you are getting by trying. I know you will succeed Stay safe and healthy.

    Hello Pavle, how nice to be spending time with such a great companion. The view is so beautiful of the misty land and green grass and foliage and the music goes well. Looks so magical. Even though nature may seem gloomy it all seems to disappear once you get involved with it or with it's creatures. How blessed we are.
    Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments.

      It really looks magical, it is hard to find out where the place really is. All hidden in the mist. And, yes, it is different world. The world that most of us won't ever be able to feel. The rhythm of the horse, the rhythm that is much closer to our body and soul than the speedy life we have to live today. How long will our brain be able to follow the changes that are happening in our lives. In such the company makes one can easily feel that Nature is only where we belong.
      Thanks.

    Nice stride. It was good to see you. I sure wish I could smell that air through my TV screen. I imagine it smells wonderful. I've always liked stepping off a plane or train and smell the different trees and flowers or lack there of, or dead foliage. (leaves)

      @PavleBalenovic  Před 3 lety

      Just because you mentioned that smell... I must say that I haven't been riding horses for some 12 years. In that time the smell of stable , horses where I would accidentally pass by would recall all those adventures and nice moments spent with horses through years. You can imagine what a memories these can be. It wasn't easy to leave life going on with no horses near me. I was always fond of animals, wild animals but horses especially.

      E moj Ljubo, ne bi vjerovao koliko je daleko taj svijet ... s konjem u magli, gotovo zaboraviš gdje si. Zapravo čak sam se i izgubio i teško našao put nazad pogotovo po mraku. Naravno da bi konj znao put nazad no počeo me slušati, nakon prilično vremena koje do sada provodimo zajedno. Čovjek se lako vrati ritmu takve jedne veličanstvene životinje koja ga je tisućljećima pratila no nije teško primjetiti da se naglo puno toga promijenilo.
      Hoćemo li imati snage slijediti sve izazove budućnosti ? .... ono što smo si sami nametnuli a pomalo zaboravili kamo zapravo pripadamo.

Probably there are more important things right now. Also, the northern jackal has been confirmed as a permanent resident this year. Cheers have a nice holiday and all the best for next year..

      @@spijkerpoes Here in my country horses were never expensive not even the food they need. Through the past but also even today they are transported in big numbers to Italy where they get killed for food. Italy is known for consuming such the meat. Recent years some new sort of owners appeared who presented themselves as breeders what they in fact are not. All because pf the financial support the government offers to the owners of so called farms. This is how they understood the agricultural politics of EU . Such the fake farming activity destroyed almost all native food industry step by step. Such the nice country with all needed to grow plants and domestic animals now looks like desert no matter we are rich with water and green areas. If this is what joining in the EU meant to be then we hit the goal. All the market places, malls and shops are mostly German together with banks and financial institutions .... they import everything from abroad without control and our industry died already. Nice future is in front of us. Much more there could be said but even such the public network isn't something that would initiate any change. As you said, I do not feel much at home on youtube, either. No need to explain but it turned to be something that most of us certainly did not expected. At the moment it is hard for me to decide to create and post anything new. More time I am spending riding or walking along with that horse less sense
      for uploading I have. Hope you understand me. It looks like all these network, as digital invention of modern era can easily be used to serve spreading evil ideas and plans. Faster then ever before, This is where we got today. What's next and what like the future will be?

      @@PavleBalenovic I'm all for the EU considering the long years of not going to war we've enjoyed after WW2 here in the west part. I'm all against the EU for the neoliberal profit optimization that somehow came along with it. Tonnes and tonnes of food and fodder are shipped pointlessly around the globe, our agriculture gone bezerk and destroyed everything that was precious to me. and.. but.. ..oh well sometimes I'm so glad I don't have children.
      About social media: yes agreed! It has become a platform for very unhealthy things. With hindsight; it was very obvious and to be expected. Well we had a fun time and I'm glad to have met you here somehow.
      Oh and: eating horse is kind of taboo here but really why I wouldn't know. Here too small scale enterprise and local endeavors suffer. The big "making" industry has long departed in the '80ies. No more ship making, no more airplane making etc here. Mostly banks and insurance and trade and.. ..lots of dairy! We got cheese for the whole globe. Bummer is that the manure always stays here and goes hand in hand with monoculture miles and miles of grass.

    • @PavleBalenovic
      @PavleBalenovic  Před 3 lety

      I think that doesn't matter much. Most of horses do not feel weight that much. You should care about its height so that your legs do not come to close to the ground when you are sitting in the saddle. It is much more important not to cause harm to the animal by improper riding. You have seen donkeys caring big persons and heavy load all that for a bit of food and roof of their small stable. You should try to ride the horse you intend to take and if you have enough experience you will certainly make correct decision and choice. Do not forget the responsibility and care needed to obtain for such the magnificent creature like horse is.
      I would perhaps try some riding hours first on hired horse ... that would be good idea for sure.
