Longer Vid Cuz I show all the good things then explain all the bad things and why this game ends up being a 6/10, still a ok game but not worth a 8+/10
OMG you are so so right! I wish I saw this first after 130 hours Oh My! Watching my death package time out, while I was on my way back...really did it for me!
Ouch, death packages are dumb, the durability punishment is enough. Game is not set up for solo or fun, gotta change those default setting right away. At least you can and they have some.. Not close to enough, and wtf is up with them trying make game worse then WoW as a MMO. I know i gave it a 6/10 and said its better then some of the last few reviews that were 5/10 but this slow travel back and forth with same guys is just getting worse as you get to new area's with more guys packed together that just takes longer so more time for guys you just killed to respawn and fight again. 3 head shots to kill dogs 10 levels lower then you, lame settings must be meant for 3-5 people parties or just horrible balancing in general.
the wepon skills are locked because they are not linear, they are random on every character, unless they have a perk specific for a weapon and there u might have a clew in advance. also the all point is to use the NPCs passed 50 and i dont really like that, i think its a bit reductive but maybe devs change it you have many many mines. some with really low NPCs.. also all of the mhave nodes outside "unguarded" Also, you are moaning about not being fast travel there, in front of one fast travel portal the onlt BLUE mark on your map. you can halso build up to 10 teleports by default, 20 if u play on your server and change the settings
Portals are very far apart and very bad area's to build, also you could only have 6 before but still you have to kill 3rd boss before you can use them... Then you have to abuse the respawn cuz parts are so dam heavy.. that system is crap, plus you have to play solo or none official server to take items threw them. The hole system is crap.. Like i said, bronze and craft at max, anything after is to little to late, the long travel times back and forth fighting same respawns over and over and its now crap. More nodes and odd ores is some places yes.. Could have played a bit more to find them but that didn't matter in the end as its to little ore or such bad spots.. their is like 1 place to make a base to make bronze thats viable in my book and still a big server will have same effect on mines vs players making it a pain to get at. Its not a very fun game in the end.. was is 74 or 84 bronze to make 1 upgrade to a workbench? WTF right.
I stopped at 3:41 cuz you clearly didnt play the game yet good enough. There is litterly a reset button which allows you to reset your tree to get points back and only learn whatever you wanna learn. Let alone you didnt even try to get to a part were you can LITTERLY craft a reset potion for your stat points iff you ever made a mistake there to. This game is TOP quality. BEST.

You say the weapon skills being a question mark is a bad call… you know you can only get over 50 when you take control of a tribesman and the skills you u lock per tribesman are random. With a chance at legendary perks. So it incentivizes to level up a thrall and maybe get a legendary rather than. Tame it oh trash skills. Then dismiss it
So they want to hide it if guys have a legendary skill, what a huge waste of time. Ya hidden rng on 8 combat skills, so they want me to waste time on leveling all combat skillz on every guy in hopes of a slightly better atk... Thats not a Pro, thats a huge time sink. i'd never want to do that, so boring.

@@bigdaddykarvix43 takes about 5 minutes at a camp to find someone better than ur main guy. There are teleporters in Bronze Age. There’s tons of copper and tin near each other. The reason the skills for weapons are question marks is cause they are random. Every npc you take over will get different skills at different levels.

Don't trust a comment from someone who talks as if they 'played' game when its a review vid, so fishy. Also sad you think achieving anything in a game like this means something for a review. Its called exp and i could see what this game is like and gonna be like after crafting first workbench and seeing tech tree, menu's and options, character screens... There are multiple Copper and Tin mines, you just need to discover them. Also, there is fast travel teleporters spread around the game world. I think you need to actually play the game before you're qualified to review it because you are complaining about things that you would discover aren't an issue as you progress.
Good to know but teleporters at so few spots and first mining locations so far apart and no teleporters to help is the point. Being able to craft you own and fast travel between your bases is the point. Not having that is 2010 garbage MMO style crap that people don't want to put up with anymore. But hey some people love running back and forth and fighting same guys 10+ times and wasting hours on travel time. O look making a trip back to old base to get a RSS jaguar faster then alpaca and have to stop and fight, kill it, o look on my way back same thing again, so fun when that kinda stuff is at choke points.. So ya its always a issue and progress doesn't matter, it would only mater if you could build portals lvl 25 or earlier. Hell they could add region portals you can build and you need RSS from each new region to build a portal in it, that would be fine. I'm sure lots of vids just gloss over the point of real fast travel, but for me I'd like to know. When a game says they add stuff like tribesman to do work to save you time from doing same old farming none stop, it'd make people assume that a easy fast travel system would be in place too so you can save time running back and forth. Point is if your already playing the game and started before i did, why are you watching and commenting on a review vid.. Always nice to see fish.

Ya, fishing around for other guys to control will be a boring time sink, most guys i've found all have skills that buff them as companion.
