- Making bracelets out of copper pipe is super fast and easy!
Not many tools are needed at all, I am sure these can be made with just vise, hammer and blowtorch.
Copper is a very soft metal that, if annealed, it can be bent into shape quiet easily even cold. It is also very easy to anneal just by heating it up with a blowtoch, and can also be quenched in water still hot because it does not harden by quenching. But still, it will hardens after you shape it for a while (work hardening) so just anneal every time it stiffens up and gets hard to bend.
Let me know what you think about this kind of easier project!
Maybe once in a while it's cool to make something that many of you can make aswell. :)
This would also make for a nice handmade gift right?
Thanks a lot for watching!

My wife has been making very similar bracelets for the past few months. We demo'ed out an old refrigeration system on the boat we live on, and she couldn't stand to throw away all the old copper refrigerant lines. She ended up making beautiful bracelets from scrap. That first one you did with the folded edges is a new direction for her...

I like this
Nice
Did you make that for your daughter?
I really like this!
I could do that... But who should wear it?
Beautiful bracelets - and I love how you showed the whole process by speeding the video up substantially after demonstrating the technique at a normal pace! I love all the variations, too, and can think of plenty more I'm going to try.
I think anyone would be proud to accept this as a gift. I certainly would! Totally handmade and unique.
Am I looking at a keeper 😊😊
Excellent, but where can one purchase the fast action hammer like the one you're using in the video? 🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨🔨
Auto-click hammer

Just film yourself then replay at fast speed and you will see how fast your hammer action will have become, and with plenty of practice you won’t need to film yourself, lol 😂

Totally saved Christmas for me, brother! Thank you!!! I made 9 of them this afternoon. Thank you, again!!!
Okie Family those 9 you gave as xmas gifts, did anyone ask for a return receipt?
Sure
😂🤣😂🤣😂Tramp

Periodically heating it up with a torch until it's red hot is a crucial step. Annealing the copper makes it soft and pounding it out hardens it again.
That was really cool! Nice to see all those different styles as well! Excellent work.
Love it! To add a bit of contrast you could also run a bead of solder in the center section.
Finally!! A cool project I actually have the ability to make. Keep em coming
I made one of these the day before yesterday. I like it! Thank you for posting this "how to" video.
Nice job I watch them do this in southern Chile right beside the copper mines 50 years ago it's the art it's not forgotten by people like you
Someone is after brownie points😂😂, these are great Christmas gifts. Was great to show the different versions too. 👊👊👊
That’s a great project! They looked awesome and simple. Thanks for showing your other versions. It’s on my todo list now 😀
Man you always come up with the coolest stuff. Truthfully, I go through my subscription list on a daily basis and just click to open a new tab on everything, so I didn't see the title until the video was over, so I had no idea until you started to curve the bracelet what it actually was. This was super cool. Kudos!
These are AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you for the massage, I really enjoyed it.
Also, I'm from the future; we need this in 2020.
I loved the hammering...cracked me up. Great ideas, you're a talent! Thank you!
😍😍😍😍😍😍 it is good copper maker
This is so cool Gader! Watching the colours change as you hear the copper was totally mesmerising!
I have made a few very simple copper bracelets by hammering the daylights out of copper wire. Thank you for ideas and demonstrations.
I've been making bracelets this way for a good while, it's such a great way of doing it!
Ik its been three years but im getting into ring making and bracelets, do I need to coat it with anything? Will it stain skin or tarnish if its just bare copper?
Wowow this vid was freaking dope! Thanks for making my night with this one ☝🏾. Great work there. Super awesome.
This is awesome! Please continue to give us more of these.
Awesome job! Love the finished pieces
That's very nice! Thanks for making this video, I'm looking forward to make my own bracelets :)
Beautiful!
Great video, thank you.
Its not his idea, bracelets have been around since mankind first rummaged the earth! You don't need to ask permission to "STEAL" someon else's showcase of idea they stole from some where else. Monkey see monkey do! Is the concept here in internet land.
Beautiful!..I made a few copper bracelets but I live in an apt so i had to make it apt friendly..no fire...hammering done when neighbors weren't home..I'm still at it ♡ love your style
I love the simple projects. Very creative. I like the different styles and designs.
Now why would someone give this a thumbs down? That was great.
They're so beautiful! You're so talented! Great job, I want them all ahahah

Love this design and tutorial - great demo on how to hammer, anneal and to use pickle to clean the metal. Will share on my blog (beadinggem) in due course so others can come watch!!
I love all of the 'tapping' sounds!
progetto semplice e bello, complimenti.
TheRyuk72 concordo; il risultato è stranamente e semplicemente complesso, ed è anche abbastanza semplice da fare

I have made several copper crosses and added patina to them but this is really a cool idea, thanks.
Nice job. Thank you for the lesson.
I wear mine faithfully. Great benefits. Awesome video, thank you. 😊
oooh pretty, Just curious, did you divide it into quarters, to get the fold line? also how long was the pipe, Awesome job man!
He done it in fifths or so, otherwise there wouldn't have been the gap in the middle
I was asking why you quenched it, then I've read the description.
It's really cool. I would customize it engraving my name.
I found this video looking up copper pipe bracelet making. I made a door pull from a copper pipe for my screen door. It was a whole lot of fun and a gob of work, but I loved the process and the result.
After watching your video, I looked through your list of videos dating back to 7 years ago and all I can say is wow! You have amazing talent. Needless to say, I just had to subscribe.
It would be nice to see a tips and tricks video for someone just starting out.
I'd like to make some metal hangers for garden tools for the chicken coop, but I live on the coast where the salt air is horrible when it comes to rust. I thought maybe copper pipe might work, but it might be too weak.
Anyhow, thank you so very much for sharing your incredibly beautiful art!!!
Great job! They all look fantastic 👍
Could you do a video re: tools used for this project I want exactly what you've got!
Ball-Peen Hammer
Torch
Bench Vise
Anvil
Rubber Mallet
Calipers
Chisel
Jar of Water
Vice-Grips (Needle Nose)
Steel Wool
File
And some other kind of hammer that I've seen a lot of, but have never known the proper name for. I think that's covered it.
Though, you could pretty much pull this off with basic pliers and a random hammer. The finer details, such as the folding, would be a tad more difficult. And, it's may prove difficult to file, without a file. But, if you have a basic pair of pliers and a hammer, I expect that you may have some other basic tools, and if you are able to think "outside of the box", you could come up with your own detailing solutions.
@@truckertriesfarming9792 the hammer with the flat end is called a cross peen, if that is what you are referring to.
That vid sure arrived on spot for christmas season and all (us) those husbands out there who don't have anything for the wife yet...
Very nicely done. I like the use of the hammer and chisel for texturing.
Just the spark I needed , the fire is lit 🔥 THANK YOU !!! GREAT PROJECT
Im not an expert, but to get a better fit around the wrist, you should heat it red hot and wrap it around the wrist. That way, you are guaranteed to get a perfect fit.
Northern Woodsman makes sense
@@will7919 well yeah, you wouldn't want a bracelet that falls off. ;)
I trusted you!
@@RB-er6gu Wooosh
Then apply this technique :-)
Cool idea Bro 🤘 I like it
I did this and then saw your video! I love the folded edge, going to try that next time
Watching this being flattened is very satisfying!!
I like occasional easy metal projects. I’d don’t yet do any metal work, so it’ll be a good starting project. What does the heating and cooling do?
Please read the description.
@@sadboi3646 quenching copper softens it
look up annealing. but basically continuous hammering makes the copper harden internally and it'll eventually become brittle and chip *work hardening*. heating and cooling softens the copper so you can continue to hammer it. someone correct me if i'm wrong, but brass works the same way as copper?
@@asleepyinsomnia i think you are correct on this matter. good explonation!
Copper becomes softer by quenching it, the opposite way of steel
make a pipe from a copper braclet
@COD BL4CK0P3R4T1V3 =))))))))))
For real he could
“Easy”
Lol funny but its actually quite easy to do im a goldsmith and make regulary pipe chanier from metal
All the plumbing in my house is from recycled bracelets!
What a very cool use for scrap copper. Hell, I don't even need to stay at a Holiday Inn to know how to do this. Great video!
Wow, that is beautiful!
That was easy??
I had no idea that a simple copper bracelet required that much effort!
Yeah, like kool man...3 days of wearing it, and your arm is a real kool shade of green too.
They have special clear coatings for jewelry that prevent that...Way to be an internet fuckhead...Ya jabroni!
@@godbluffvdgg I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you made the video. If I need any crap from you, I'll squeeze your head...I bet you think NUKES are fake too...Hahahahaha. What a loser...
It's satisfying to watch you do it on high speed :)
I love the speeded ip video. Makes it great
Would have been cool to put copper pennies in the middle
Wire Works Yes, use coin inlays
Pennies are not made of copper now, they are zinc with copper plating. You would need very old pennies.
Have tried putting a penny through a rolling mill?
Awesome!
You should open a Etsy store selling these 😂
I think they look great! Going to have to try this thank you 😊
Beautiful work! I am trying to figure out what length to cut. Thanks for sharing!!!!
Your hands, at the place of wearing the bracelet, will have characteristic dark bands, from copper oxidation!
That's part of the style
Yeah I love the dark patches on my wrist, and the smell. Good for my joints too.
unless you clear coat it
You can put a clear coat on it or rub some Johnson's paste wax in it to help minimize that.
I wonder if there really is any truth about copper, or other elements, helping with aches and pains or even healing? Just an honest question.
I made my own the day before. One now on wrists and ankles. I suffer dibilitating pain daily I will let you know. As yet worn them for 24 hours with no reduction in pain whatsoever 😣 I will continue wearing for 1 month I'll update you if you wish 🙏
264 715 have you noticed any changes?
@@user-rn6hz8pb9s None at all sorry I totally forgot to update...Had them on daily...Severe pain slight difference not noticeable with my pain levels. Strangely It stopped me controlling my dreams which was very strange...
@@user-rn6hz8pb9s Took them off today...
You thought me how to make a copper ring for my fiancee and now a bracelet for me 😁 thank you so much for your time and knowledge.
Those are pretty gnarly. Thanks for sharing.
What were the multiple heating processes for?
to remove the stress from hammering, when u hammer copper or gold or something simular it gets brittle and breaks easier
It's explained in video description
Nice job. Might turn your wrists green lol.
So much fun to watch and I can't wait to make one.
Beautiful result and fun video to watch with speed turned up.
You don't need to anneal it. I do this a lot and sell a lot of them on etsy. Never once annealed one
Ok but he does god there are to many critics on here, everyone has their own way of doing things and hes just show his way,and u have ur way
An I have one too
Love them all! You make everything you do look so easy! Cheers from Canada
Like this just need the iron to beat it
Beautiful work and great way to recycle scrap metal
I like copper and it's a good conducting metal. Make your creations with love it enhances the beauty and value.
