Hellmuth is one of those guys who initially you feel bad for since they get picked on so much, but after spending time with them you realize that they deserve every single bit of it.

I agree. but he does seem like a great guy outside poker
@@Jessy_247 I actually think he’s pretty cool overall. Even when he throws tantrums it’s almost like he’s self aware enough and he understands people are going to make fun of him but he accepts it because it’s just part of his process 😂

Was about to comment on Tony G’s amazing read then I realised Phil showed him his hand and Tony’s number one goal in life is to troll Phil.
Gotta love tony g
Tony g could never play poker in Oklahoma. He’s never make it to his car, to be honest.
@@iwishiwasthomasshelby I lived several years in Tulsa (Cherokee Casino) and you are right. Trolling in Oklahoma will get you either: A. Beatdown, beat up, cut, or shot.

We’ve all been in Ivey’s shoes there. At the table with a guy who’s annoying af and you want to just deck him.
And you're not talking about cards lol
You are so clueless it's not even funny. Ivey himself said he wishes he wasnt that serieus and enjoyed himself more on the poker table. Maybe it's hard to believe that when you put him on a pedestal.

Damn, I wish I had Ivey's problems
he probably had more of a hustle in the golf
From what I hear Ivey like most of these "pro players" is in serious financial trouble. They overspend, they get tax trouble, they're compulsive gamblers who we see win big, but we don't see when they lose big. These people do not have enviable lives. And they need the money badly enough they have to go on TV and debase themselves.
@@orgoniteyahgoniteaustralia6888 Ivey isn’t in financial trouble. Dude is worth 125 million. Between endorsements and partnerships alone, he’s probably in the black. Add on career winnings in about every variation of poker there is and his tendency to absolutely rake in high stakes baccarat, Phil is one of the few ultra rich “gamblers” who doesn’t have a tendency to lose big.

That was the point. They can't beat Phil Ivey on a bad day. They were trying to tilt the hell out of him.
Well, it's not easy to keep cool being at the same table as Tony G, The Mouth and Poker Brat.

I can't stand when players do that. I understand being annoyed by it. Im trying to win easy money and I'm currently taking advantage of this situation. Advising a player making poor choices to play better is not good for the game.

Yeah, I had to play it back.
I'm guessing you haven't run into ace king or better enough. Remember the action. Phil raises under the gun, IVEY 3 bets in next position. 4 betting with Ace Queen in his spot is terrible due to possibly going up against a bigger hand and that those two have early position. They are leading out whether they hit or not. Years of lessons.
Its a simple read for Ivey and it has been. He misses " the game " and being stuck at this level with "these guys" has been draining on him. The contracts etc. The image. To him- he was a somebody when he was a nobody out playing and living "the Lifestyle"
