Fulham just pressed self destruct button in this situation
No discipline.
It was so surprising
I’m not even joking I’ve seen this exact comment 20+ times
It was like a demon of confusion came upon that Fulham team. They just lost it.
😂😂 demon on confusion
Punk azz Ref. Why we still have rules thar give a Pen and a Red Card is the stupidest sheet ever. Why we give Reds fir touching a ref to some teams but not Bruno who did the same things a week or so ago is the problem with these Big Six loving beaches. Here is the truth, Fulham kicked Man Us azz and the Refs gave them the game.
Ikr
Thanks so much 😂😂❤
I agree, no one is calling out Willian, What was he thinking trying to stop the goal with his hands knowing there is VAR. He and Mitrovic were the two most dangerous players for Fulham. Its a straight red and at 1-1 there wld have been a good chance Fulham wld still win the match with 11 men IF hadn't used his hand to stop the goal.
Lmao... It was voo doo
Mitrovic and Fulham doing their best to audition for Gone in 60secs 😊
🤣
He should be charged with assault.
Lol
Underrated comment
This may be the single biggest meltdown in football history. It was a joy to watch. Even after the game not a single Fulham member was taking responsibility for what happened. They were acting like they got hosed. It was a clear hand ball and red. No argument.
It was the FA cup bud
Yeah not taking responsibility is showing sheer weakness all through Fulham, bad sports man-simple as that
And yet you were confused why other fans where mocking you last season
It's a two way thing, what if it is the referee that does the otherwise, what punishment should be given to such a one(referee)?
@@ngosachanda6088 maybe so. But I’m this instance this wasn’t the case. The referee did everything right. That penalty and red card was so completely obvious that’s why it was a bit of a shock for everyone when Fulham acted the way they did.
For silva if you see the clip ref was first reaching for yellow in his other pocket but silva kept yelling then ref immediately changed and reached to other pocket for red
Fernandes gives the lineman a little annoyed ‘get out of my way’ push to get to the ball. Mitrovic pulls on the ref with aggressive ‘I’ll F you up” attitude and charges at him. Very different situations.
Cr7 tapped the ref in an el classico match and got a red card. Consistency please
They are trying so hard to make Fernandes situation look the same 😂
Because it is- deliberate contact on a ref should be a red

Fulham deserved more from the game, but they were the masterminds of their own downfall. Mitrovic and Silva should be embarrassed for letting their team down to that extend
no, they get exactly what they deserve, no more no less.
We can’t tell. Willian letting that ball in makes it 1:1. We don’t know how Fulham would react but the evidence is that they would have lost confidence showing how they collapsed from the award of the penalty. 😊
They deserved exactly what they got, nothing.
They got what they deserved beaten with every stat you can think of Man Utd had more shots dribbles tackles pocession corners and turn arounds what does Fulham deserve a Pat on the back ???
@rblondon becasue Fulham were leading in most stats before the Red cards
People trying to liken Bruno's 'push' on linesman with what Mitro did is basically idiotic. Media and oppo fans will try and say it's the same but any one with half a brain will know it just isn't.
Rival fans rattled 🤣
Those people who think this are clearly on crack
British media will always attack foreign players, they never do the same for British players
What was the difference?
@@crash17289 bruno fernandes would get whooped by the linesman, mitro could kill the ref.
Fulham forced the ref to send them off 😂😂
Sky deliberately just showed a freeze frame of the Fernandes incident. They should have shown more of it. The assistant clearly grabbed hold of Fernandes first twice. Fernandes was annoyed at this and put his hand on him in annoyance more than anything else.
They did the same for Casemiro both red cards. Fine you can argue both were deserved
But Ayew did the same.....no review. Walker Peters scissor tackled Garnacho. No review. The Southampton defender handled clearly. Nonsense off balance argument. Why is he on the ground to begin with??
Even then it just looks like he's touched him in the small of his back like one would their missus. Mitrovic pulled the ref back. It looks like they're trying to goad him into saying Bruno should've been sent off
They can't play the replay it's a stupid rule CZcams have only official match highlights can be shown on this platform rubbish I know
The Fernandes and Mitrovic incidents are completely different, one is touching to move past the linesman (after being pushed by the linesman) the other is aggressively in the face of the ref if you think their the same you should have a look at your own delusions
And one's 7-0 down and the other is winning the game at that point! That's what I can't believe - they were up, were the better team and could have at least easily competed in penalties. They absolutely lost their heads and threw away the game!
ohh move past like a small kids... brouno and utd are always will be lucky and smaller teams have to sacrifice.
@RedLad You wouldn't be biased in any way, would you...??
The rule I believe is pretty black and white - hands on the ref is a red. And you damn right know Bruno didn't "touch him to move past him", he shoved him out the way
@@sayedmubin2464 when case got the red, I didn’t see you the comments making these claims
Bruno Fernandes ushered the linesman out of his way to continue the game, mitrovic pretty much attacked the ref on Sunday, big difference and the fact that we’re even talking about it is a pisstake.
Spot on
It's an agenda. Everything Man Utd is blown out of proportion
I agree its nowhere near the same BUT Bruno did not usher the Linesman he pushed him in a dismissive disrespectful way, he should have gotten a yellow.
Its pretty simple, ZERO contact with the officials.
@@Lioness_UTV agreed he didn't usher him out the way, it was a throw his toys out the pram push, he pushed him in a petulant way. Was uncalled for. It wasn't aggressive like Mitrovic but should have been at least a yellow and maybe even a red (I think in future the rules should be zero tolerance for handling refs). But Mitrovic is in a different ball park
Does that make what Bruno Fernandez did right? As far as I'm concerned both of them put hands on the refs and should be punished because if another player does exactly what Bruno Fernandez did to a ref they'll refer to that incident. No player has any right to put hands on the ref forany reason. I really felt embarrassed seeing what Bruno did that day, he would have left the pitch with a swollen eye if i were the Assistant ref
Well said Bruno totally different situation mitrovic was very aggressive I thought at one bit he might do something far worse .
But you're avoiding the fact that he should've been punished
@@GennySavastone they don't talk about how other teams don't get penalty calls at OT either. It's embarrassing for the league to have a couple of places wherein the away team know that they're going to have officiating go against them as much as it currently does.
@@RD-zx6py that's the worst argument I have ever heard
He shouldve snatched the red card and given a red to the ref.

What was insane is that after the 3 red cards were shown, the other Fulham players charged toward the ref risking another red card and it was the United players calming them down. Ridiculous. Lol.
if united didnt calm them down idk what would happend almost everyone from united was defending the ref from Fullham players

Dermot Gallagher is a typical company man and very frustrating to watch. A former match official brought on the show to give insight to viewers about the inner workings and decision making of match officials, but is only allowed to speak about the obvious stuff that every Jim and Jack already know.
Wow when a decision goes for us all the fans, the pundits say United gets the decisions! despite the fact we have been on the edge of some debatable calls and I'm talking about the casamiro reds, yet a more dangerous scissor tackle (walker peters) against ganacho is perceived not dangerous? You talk about fair what I've just said isn't fair 🥴
We had had dodgy decisions against us all season , cassimiro not a red and we should of had 2 pens in that game too how handball isn't given for the first one just bamboozles me then foul on rashford , if ref thinks rashford has dived why didn't he book him , betis game before that handball in build up to their goal and west ham scored in home game b4 that with ball that went out of play !!! That's the last 3 home games b4 yesterday as for Bruno at anfield linesman puts his hand on Bruno twice , he is petulant in his response but basically swats out at him , United have had 1 var decision go for us ( in the Derby) but we've had decisions go against us all season , penalty at Palace, 2 at home to Newcastle, that's just off top of my head , cassimiro red against Palace but ayew stays on

Exactly and they also used VAR to colour the referee's decision, by showing a very incriminating still of the incident, rather than letting him see the whole phase of play. Also, show the incident in real time - life doesn't happen in slow motion!!!!!
Bruno “pushed” the linesman in an attempt to recover the ball for the corner no threat of harm was intended Mitrovic grabbed the official went full in his face and postured as if he was going to deck the guy. The two offenses both deserved cards for touching an official but one is more severe and thats why a red card was shown
Funny 😂

How people are comparing the Bruno situation to this beats me. Yes Bruno was wrong and deserved a yellow card at least. But the level of aggression in this case was on another level. The two videos are on CZcams. Watch and compare.
Hold on. The challenge was a good challenge, Bruno is then aggressive towards the player, who has had a chance to give the ball back. The linesmine, sees this is too aggressive from Bruno, and then Bruno pushes the linesmen. There's no reason to touch the linesmen. This is very aggressive in this unwanted situation. Dare I say it... We should follow our Rugby counterparts in being a bit more respectful to the people who actually make our games run with some form of order. It doesn't take much to respect our fellow human beings.
--------
For those that seem to be missing the point. The original post is about respect. All the stuff about people not being happy with on pitch decisions, has nothing to do with respecting other people.
Also respect being earnt is the biggest cop out someone can give about respect, the mentality of a 12 year old that is. You do not need to be shown respect to give it.
I will say that not respecting someone, who has blatantly done something to wrong you is acceptable in my eyes. But until that day comes people shouldn't struggle to live with respect for one another.
All of that is irrelevant in terms of sport and wanting the right decision, The game is for the athletes and not for us to think about the officials feelings ESPECIALLY when they continue to make the wrong decisions.
We should but we should also expect better from them. Its very hard to command respect when you are making colossal mistakes week in week out.
Rugby has the most brutal players but have the most respectful approach to the officials,a rugby match official calls a player once and the player has to run to the referee in a humble manner and by that they are given reasons as to why the are being punished for then proceeds to book the player on his cards, very proffessional.
@@mancunianmartin558 "a good team doesn't blame the ref" has 0 substance to it, referees have been constantly getting decisions wrong that have an impact on the outcome, and that needs to change, as someone that spends money travelling to watch my club I expect them to do their job.
Only because the refs are miced up and the cameras are on them. All ages up is the exact same as football with the exact same abuse.

Cannot believe you haven't done one on Andersons disallowed goal for Newcastle against forest. We absolutely need an answer to that it was shambolic
I'm a Newcastle fan and I haven't a clue how it works, but for me being honest Longstaff was never onside in that move, when I saw replay for 1st time on TV I fully expected goal to be overturned. What ever it was it was a brilliant finish and won't be long till he gets his goal he deserves and I hope its a home game as the roof will come off now.

That was hardcore gangster stunt by Mitrovic.
Agree with Sue that we need protection and it should be only captains but equally they need micing up, and asked to explain decisions. To captains and the players affected but also to fans.
And Stephen mentioned the mitigating factor in the Bruno one is that the assistant grabbed him first, you can't have one rule for the officials and one for the players either.

Yeah, just like in the mans game, rugby union, it's not that it's a radical decision, but you know football the last major sport to be dragged kicking and screaming into the modern era.
I don't see that only the captians speak to the ref alone ...because in rugby it's kt working ... for example Nick Berry wouldn't entertain Siya Kolisi for his reasons were unknown or just being a plain straight racist.... but there need to be rules about this fines won't help there need to be big sanctions because Fulham was the better team bar that counter attack from man united

Surprise surprise, bring back Fernandez event, a totally different narrative, Bruno's is reacting from the referee putting his hands on him.
There is a 1% case where the ball MAY have hit willian's knee AT THE SAME TIME as the hand, but there's 2 camera viewpoints that shows IT HITS THE HAND, denying the goal (Deserved Red). For Marco Silva, if you the the build up of events 10 seconds before the ref gave him red, Silva was screaming at the 4th ref, then stepped out of his manager box, and also provoke the Cavanagh (not really a red, but 2 yellows for these multiple incidents). Me and my dad have been saying what Sue said for years it should be like Rugby in which only the captains should only be able to talk to the Refs, should have stamped it out when it started becoming a thing.
It is one thing for a captain to rush over to have a word or the player who committed the alleged foul to have a word, but other players get so physically close should simply be stamped out.
Of course, the cynic in me thinks that the league like the spectacle of emotional players screaming at the referee. Makes for fun replays doesn't it?
Which measures do we put in place for referees not touching players? Because the linesman also interacted with Bruno before the push.

Is there a reason we don't follow Rugby in terms of sin bin, refs having mics etc? It seems like it's something that could be implemented pretty much instantly and instantly fix the issue...
Captains should be the only ones allowed to approach the referee / match officials during the game; anyone else should be booked for that. Cautioning of players, if the need be, should be done with his captain next to him where possible. Avoidance of further slowing the game should be avoided.

We were so lucky in this game. We probably deserved to at least draw it, or lose to Fulham. They had us on the ropes! I knew from past performances when we had been playing away in Europe 3 days earlier, we would struggle. We played crap for pretty much the whole game. Fulham actually played well for a while, even with 2 players missing, but it was only a matter of time. The implosion of Fulham was hilarious 😂, they fully lost their heads
I'm a United fan. We were by far the second best team for 70+ minutes. Fulham were fantastic. They took it to us like few teams have at home this season. This is why what happened is baffling. 😂😂 it was a clear handball, penalty, and sending off. 11 vs 10 is not ideal but 11 vs. 9 at that level of competition... Great television though.
A good ref commands respect and naturally controls the game.
William incident is a clear red card no doubt about that, so I don't know why mitrovic go to the extend like that, this is unprofessional from a player like him, the team has to take critical action against him because of next time.
I’m a united fan and I agree that Bruno got a bit lucky. If he were to get a red then the linesman would surely have to have been removed for pushing Fernandes first. It’s also notable that the linesman is in the way of the ball, so Fernandes is trying to get past him to get it.
No way that's a red bruh.Linesman pushed him first, then he pushed the linesman in frustration.
And fyki, linesman doesn't have cards in their pocket, referees do. The linesman needs to complain to the ref, otherwise VAR won't intervene.
Imagine Antonio Mateu Lahoz was officiating this match? 😂
It would be a massacre
I knew of an amateur league referee who sent off a player in the 1st half, received a torrent of abuse from him, then at half-time went into that player's changing room and beat the player up and had to be dragged off. I think Chris Kavanagh definitely showed restraint 😂
although I agree with the Manchester Utd vs fullham decision, why didn't they give a red in the sheffield vs blakcburn game for a similar offense?
I want to see Dermot vs The wealdstone raider for the smack bag weight championship of the world
Why didn't they discuss the two earlier "incidents" in which Mitrovic felt that he was pulled down in the penalty area (one of which is clearly a penalty IMOP), leaving Mitrovic wondering why the VAR ref was not consulted then?
It was not a clear penalty though.. it was hardly a shout.. The whole game was very physical from both sides so that incident was hardly stand out..
Also Mitrovic is a huge dude and that contact was way too small for him to go down like that..
There needs to be a serious change in how players interact with Officials. No more surrounding the Ref or storming up to them to challenge a call etc. Only the Cap'ns should be able to speak with the Ref.
Bruno case, the linesman did not feel the threat ! Mitrovic yes for sure, its confrontation!!💪💪

I think Fernandes should have gotten a yellow. But, in his defense, there was some similar pushing by the assistant before he pushed back. There was no violence, etc. Mitrovic was much more threatening...
Comparissions with Bruno is silly.
Salty Fulham fans went to the archive to dig up a random incident no one talked about while it happened.
Get over yourselfs and accept that your team lost their cool.
Yeah. The linesman touched bruno first that is why he couldn't even report it to the ref.
How are they comparing Bruno to Mitrovic. The Liverpool official literally put his hands on Bruno first and Bruno was moving him out the way. Why is everyone always overanalyzing everything when it comes to Man Utd 😂 the amount of decisions against Man Utd this season has been insane. Especially that loser Anthony Taylor and his wife Andre Marriner.
Well said 👏 👌
what i wonder is how the ref even needed to look at VAR to see it was a pk and red
I’ve seen multiple say things get mirrored down to the grassroots level. At the grassroots level I have far more issues with fans than players. The players actions usually start to become a problem as a reaction to what fans are saying.
Mitrovic was aggressively confrontational while Fernandes lightly reacted to the situation. Big difference. Just like how not all incidents in which the ball touches the hand inside the penalty box warrant a penalty. Intent matters.
Mitrovic literally squared up to ref, you are right there is not even a comparison.
Thanks ref you saved our life😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Funny that... ref is from Greater Manchester 😂
To be fair, before the 3 red cards, Fulham were threatening and had many great chances , it was 60:40 they had every chance to still fight even if theyre down to 10 men. They totally lost it when Mitrovic and manager went aggressive after
Fulham was not robbed William did his own team down William as a forward did try to defend but used his hand also thought that ref for Southampton game ref did not award United for a handball take a chance in this game that's where frustration was from Fulham
The interviewer seems so ashamed the way he's asking about Bruno incident, like he knows it's not Red Card incident but anyway I'm trying to make a story from a mole and gets shuts up immediately 😂
Bruno is the Manchester United captain, if there's a rule officials cannot be touched there has to one where they cannot touch a player, if they do so they are removed from the list of officials used by the FA. There also has to be a come back for blatantly wrong decisions and those decisions be over turned.
Should the linesman have grabbed Fernandes?
Why do they talk in slow motion like we get it
Suarez handled ball at goal line during World Cup against Ghana, Red Card and penalty similar to William's case.
Mitrovic hit, bullied aggressive to referee Red Card.
Bruno explained what happened at Anfield. The Assistant referee tapped him, told him not to be discouraged with the scores inflicted on Man Utd.
Bruno said he merely tapped him when getting back into the field. No aggression. How are these two comparable?.
The biggest problem here is consistency, if fernandes had been yellow carded no one could justifiably be able to compare the 2 incidents because both had been pubished
The Fernandes and Mitrovic incidents are completely different, one is touching to move past the linesman (after being pushed by the linesman) the other is aggressively in the face of the ref if you think their the same you should have a look at your own delusions. Fulham lost the game and were more likely to proceed in the FA cup because they lost their heads. Bruno’s “incident” is an example of you looking for a reason to be angry.
@Yaxiya ali I don't care either way as I'm not a fan of either club. My honest opinion was a yellow for fernandes is all that was needed and then you've completly eliminated the man utd don't get punished because they're a big team
Also if you read it properly I never said that the incidents were the same I said it would get rid of the chance to compare the 2.
If Fernandes got a card assistant red needs to be disciplined.. How dare he man handle a player first ..
Refs has been Against united this season its about time they do their jobs
Both Referee and VAR are from Manchester or Greater Manchester, no bias there. two minutes after Anthony came on as sub he kicked Robinson in an off ther ball incident, also ignored by ref and VAR. Kavanagh has history with Fulham, no bisas there then.
All the chaos could have been avoided had Willian had any sportsmanship. If he holds his hands up, the Coach and Mitrovic avoid their red. The fact that he protests his innocence is why the outrage ensued.
The best comment whatsoever on this issue. Point blank! Willian could have accepted his error and the team would have moved on with only 1 red card. He literarily forgot about VAR at that point!
@1:09 the reason Silva was fustrated and lost it and the same with Mitrovic is because they believed they should have had a penalty in the 1st half on Mitrovic. (Silva mentioned this in his post match interview). The guy blatantly dived, initiated contact and then threw his hands up in the air, relaxed his legs and chucked himself on the ground. It was never a pen in a million years, but for some reason Silva and Mitrovic thought it was.
So when VAR intervened in the second half (of which there is no doubt that is was a deliberate handball) they both thought they had been cheated as the home side had been given a pen and the away side not awarded one in the first half. Which resulted in the red mist coming down on both Silva and Mitrovic.
The team (players, staff etc...) has access to video reply , but still believed in their tiny little brains that Mitrovic should have had a first half penalty and took this resentment into the 2nd half instead of letting it go. Honestly, it just goes to show how much cheating has been going on over the years that managers and players think that diving/cheating the ref should be given as penalties. VAR sees everything (it gets the vast majority of stuff right) so you just can't get away with stuff anymore.
Even Willian who claimed his arm was tucked in can clearly be seen dropping his shoulder/arm/fist to block the ball. Cheater!
Why make that choice if you know VAR will catch you out. Let the ball go in or try harder with your leg to block it. Either way your still in the game at 1-1 and have 11 men on the pitch.
VERY, VERY POOR PROFESSIONALISM, from Willian, Silva and Mitrovic. Small team mentality right there for you all to see.
Regarding the bigger picture, this incident just highlights even more the complete lack of trust and respect that footballers (across all levels and all leagues on this planet) have towards the ref and his assistants!
Think Willians action was just instinct(which can understand)ref had no choice but send him off Willian didn't kick off+let Fulham down the other 2 did majorly
The backstory actually goes back further than that, because Kavanagh officiated the West Ham-Fulham game earlier in the season and managed to miss a couple of blatant handballs from WH players in the build-ups to two of their goals. Easy to see why the Fulham lot felt there was foul play, even if their behaviour was OTT. (Then again, the way people are going on about this you would think Mitrovic sent him to the ICU. This idea that the abuse of lower level referees is purely a trickle-down from what goes on in the big leagues really is a farce: this problem of degenerative violence is a much wider issue in British society, far bigger than football, and I really think this discourse is all a grand cope to deny that reality.) Hopefully for everyone involved Kavanagh makes few, if any, appearances for Fulham's games from now on.
Kavanagh apparently was also born in the Manchester area and supports United. Should he be allowed to officiate such a match? Hmm, I’d like to know.
@@Buddhammaful if he supported united, he wouldnt be allowed to referee them. quite a few premier league referees ive noted are from manchester. id assume this is because the referee training there is better then most other places.
The day I take Dermont Gallagher serious is when he disagrees with a decision and calls for it it be overturned, He's always deep in the rear end of whichever ref made the decision.
Booo hoooo 😂
Ref was right tho
@@unclebensrice4702 I guess this was a red card but this man can never call out a decision even if it's bad..
Dermot lives in the cupboard in the staff room
Next to you?

Got man utd out of a massive hole as they were absolutely dreadful until those red cards.
One team that definitely needed this international break is man utd.
Players look dead on their feet.
with example to how Bruno "touched" the ref after explaining to the ref beforehand what happened in the incident... the ref currently was just in the way of Bruno getting on to the pitch as Trent threw the ball at them as leaving right before, Bruno then was like whatever since Manchester United wasn't awarded a throw-in since Trent touched the ball first in the last play prior to ball go out of bounds, Bruno got annoyed by Trent pulling the ball away from Bruno since Bruno knows Trent touched it last ... that's about it ... he gently put hand on the ref signalling him to take a step so Bruno can get back onto the pitch since he's not the United player taking throws, or just to get back into the game
Spot on Mr Dermot. Well said
