My best ultralight backpacking cook kit to date. A collection of tools that can prepare a meal from fresh ingredients and still fit in a (largish) pocket. Suitable for a day or weekend hike. This is achieved by using a minimalistic approach to choosing items.
My other video " Different approach to simmering alcohol stove" • Different approach to ... outlines the thinking behind the design of the stoves. The one used for simmering burns 1 ml of alcohol a minute which makes timing easy. If a 20 minute simmer is required then add 20 ml of alcohol.
