Hey guys! Looks like we just missed you at Disney. Magic Kingdom had closed for a private concert by a Swedish band. I don't know who booked the park, but it was not a ticketed event, DVC, or cast event. I did see some footage from a friend who works for Disney. It was quite the sight!

We just put together a video of Disney Soundscapes of Contemporary/ Baylake sounds and it’s perfect! All the amazing sounds of this resort!

The special event is "Disney after hours" we had the pleasure of attending last February. It was worth every single penny!

I usually pick 1st floor for a few reasons....1) no elevator or stairs to climb/wait for 2) kid can go right out the door and play. My boys would be all over playing football in the "yard" outside your room right there!

My daughter is 7 and we have not gone since she was younger. We no longer own a stroller but do you recommend renting a stroller?
If you plan on being in the park all day, I would say yes just in case. These parks are huge and can be very tiring. Ellie likes to walk but she eventually gets tired and sits in the stroller. However, if you plan on doing just a few hours in the park, back to the room for a break and then back to the park in the evening, you may not need it. You can always try it out without the stroller and if you find that she is having a hard time, rent one for the next day.

We got 1st floor for our Copper Creek Stay this past Friday and we liked the area! Not too bad. Super close to the pool and Roaring Forks but super far from Lobby. It was so peaceful in the mornings. D'awww! You like the boat sounds too!? Love hearing them too. I hope Max is feeling better. :(
And yup! Sounds like Cast Member Appreciation tent out! Corporate buy outs too maybe. We had ours at MGM back in the day.

Awesome room location! The only thing better than watching Cool Runnings was watching Cool Runnings with Peter Pan. =) So bummed we didn’t get to bump into you guys being there at the same time! This video is already helping cure my Disney blues. ❤️
Also, we typically always visit in January and I know during previous trips there have been DVC member only events at Magic Kingdom after park closing.

Anna Belle lol the random songs we come up with throughout the day is ridiculous lol You do have to be a resort guest staying there to be able to rent out the equipment since they keep a log of your info including your room number.

Some nights there are After Hours, kind of like MNSSH or Xmas but with no characters parades etc. My husband and I just did it 1/13 and pretty much walked on the rides and got ice cream snacks, popcorn and Coke products included
That was the same night this was filmed! So I’m over at Bay Lake wondering what’s going on and you’re there having a great time! Lol good to know! Do you feel it’s worth the money?
We had used a gift card to pay for the majority of it but we walked right onto every ride and rode a couple a few times. I think I figured out we did at least ten rides in just over ten hours and we weren’t rushing around at all. I’d do it again.
@@NeverlandFamily I thought I'd chime in on this post because I did 2 after hours events last May, one at HS and one at MK. All I kept saying over and over those nights was that it was SO VERY worth the money!! I would say even more so at MK because it's larger and more spread out so you really do feel like you're nearly by yourself. It's a weird feeling but also a very special feeling all at the same time! I got in 11 rides if I remember correctly, and I also did 1 meet and greet, plus seeing the Kiss Goodnight topped off such an amazing night! It was an experience I will never forget and always treasure and if I get the opportunity in the future to do it again I 100% will without hesitation!

How often do you guys go to Disney and how many days per visit? We are dvc members we come down to Florida about eight to ten times a year. Only do about five days at a clip
We do a lot of day trips since we aren’t too far from the parks. We do overnight trips 4-5 times per year and stay anywhere from 2-5 nights depending on the trip.
Is Bay Lake Tower still your favorite resort?
It is!

My husband and I want to do a makeup trip and do the cruise for our 10 year anniversary. We went in September too but our cruise was canceled from the hurricane. So I am kind of worried trying to do it again during the same time. I’m scared it will happen again 😳😳
I don’t think we will book again in September ☹️

Neverland Family we typically do our vacation the end of August beginning of September time frame. Because our anniversary is August 30th. So Labor Day gives us a free day in terms of requesting time off for work. My husband and I are going to Hawaii in October this year, but still want to do something special to celebrate our 10 year anni. And we haven’t ever been on a cruise (last year was supposed to be our first). I feel like a cruise would be so romantic and fun. We don’t have kids yet but we still love our Disney trips lol. We got married at 19 & 21. Never had a wedding, dress, cake, pics of the day or anything. So we really want to make this anniversary memorable. But the problem is that it is hurricane season.. and I don’t want what happened last year to happen this year.. but it is the only time we will get to request time off.. also we want to cruise before my husband deploys. So ugh I’m in a pickle lol. I’d hate to plan it and pay for it and have time off for it and then it get canceled again.😕
I’m mostly just scared to talk to Frank.

I think it might be theDisney after hours at Magic Kingdom Park it’s from November till may or march on certain nights in January it’s from 8 to 11 and also nine till midnight on certain dates

Disney’s website says check-in time is at 3 , & you said 4? Did it change or is it different at certain resorts?
NM , just answered my own question: “What are the Disney Resort hotel check-in and check-out times? The check-in time is 4:00 PM for Disney Deluxe Villas, 3:00 PM for the other Disney Resort hotels. The check-out time is 11:00 AM.”
Any DVC also has a 4pm check in :)
