- In today's vlog we head to Disney's Vero Beach resort Disney's Vero Beach Resort for a family vacation. DIsney's Vero beach is located on Florida's East Coast about an hour and a half from Disney World. If you are looking for some magic outside of the Disney parks, this is the place for you! Just be sure to bring bug spray because the No-see-ums are horrible!
We are back and we have missed you! We decided to take a break from vlogging during this pandemic and focus on our family, health and adjusting to this new normal and we thank you for your understanding these last few months. We have been quarantined since March so this trip meant a lot to us. We understand that some of you may not understand why we decided to vacation during this time but we please respect our decision. Our first priority is the safety of our kids... not only physically but also mentally. This virus and the quarantine has mentally taken a tole on our family's mental health. A little beach therapy and some Disney magic is what we needed!

You dont have to justify your decision to vacation to anyone. Be safe and have fun. Glad to see you guys back at it. We didn't sit home and worry. We went to destin twice, the keys, and savannah this summer. We were responsible and stayed in our own camping rig. Its the best type of social distancing.

We totally understand that you need to mentally escape and you were safe about it! You’re showing your kids that you can still live your lives and adjust to the always changing world around us!

Thank you for the kind words and the support. As much as a routine is very important for kids, we also are not strict with routine when it comes to vacations so they can learn to adjust in certain situations. I also think that’s helped them not rely on their own beds for nap time and be able to sleep in any situation if tired enough.
They did better than we expected with the masks. They did say they were uncomfortable some times but the adjusted and we were lucky to be close to areas where we can take them off. Not sure if we would be able to do the parks in this heat with the masks tho. :(

So happy to see a new video - it feels like a small step back to normal! I’ve been rewatching old vlogs while working from home to get a little Disney magic 🙂 The resort looks beautiful and I’m pretty sure I’m Max anytime I attempt to putt-putt golf lol. I’m so glad y’all got to get out and vacation. Ignore any haters - your job is to do what’s best for your family and as far as getting out and vacations go, I doubt there’s anyplace safer than a Disney resort given their high levels of cleanliness even before Covid.

Great to see you all again! I am thrilled you are doing Vero Beach resort. I have always wanted to stay there but no one does reviews and the ones who just talk about it say it's boring. But when I saw your video, I knew you guys were going to show that's it not boring. Looking forward to the rest of your vacation.
Happy to be back! We didn’t get a chance to explore the town but there seems to be a lot of activities around town as well as the resort. We didn’t find it boring but we also went into to it knowing that we were going to keep it low key and hang at the beach most of the time.

So happy to see a new vlog!! We have had our upcoming August trip booked since Jan 2020 with our DVC points. Our annual June trip was canceled so I had to use those points and add on to our August trip. (couldn't bank them again) we have our mask, sanitizer and lysol and park reservations ready for our park adventures. So glad to see you back at it and having safe FUN!

Neverland Family Thank you! We can’t wait to get back to the magic. I have planned to take it easy and just go with the flow. We booked meals for the heat of the day, so we get a little break. I think it will be a nice little escape for us all, the kids and myself have been suffering mentally and emotionally being stuck at home since March, like a lot of people I am sure. ❤️
Vero beach is one of my favorite resorts. We stayed there in Jan before this whole thing happened. You guys are so lucky to be in driving distance. I loved the morning beach walks. PS super cute flamingo mask! Where did you find it?!

My twins have that same Mickey swim shirt. It’s a 2T but runs small, so they worn until now 2.5 yrs now, I loved it so much I wanted to find new ones.. I can’t did them anywhere. The first were gifts, where did you buy yours?
We bought it when he 2 so I can’t remember if we got it from Target or Disney store.
The water looked a good bit clearer than what I figured it was. I am generally not a big fan of the Atlantic side of the ocean, but that water did look nice, maybe because it is so far south?
This was our first experience with the Atlantic. The waves were a lot stronger than we are used to on the gulf but the water was gorgeous!
