I mean grunts and marines take more damage than us on legendary. CE was a fair challenge and dying on legendary was mostly due to player error rather than the sandbox and AI being unfair. From H2 onwards every enemy fires so fast it's like they're moving plasma turrets
It's basically an elite ultra, not sure why you are surprised. . . They even show you during the opening of Halo 2 that these are commanders of the fleet.
He even makes fun of him saying Ha ha. The gold elite's mistake was jumping so hard that he fell into a position where the blue elite only waited for him and gave him a forceful blow to kill him.
Sgt Johnson must have had some seriously tough armor to take that many slashes to the back. Gotta respect gold elite's persistence though. He just kept at it.
Imagine having a jet pack and ranged weapon vs. a guy stuck on the ground with a sword, only for him to jump thirty feet in the air and slice you in half

A lot of these moments have been funny but the actual disrespect from the Prophet of Regret is ridiculously funny. I've never seen that before and have to believe in game he could normally do that to Chief if his laser kills you.

I remember hearing the unreversed elite lines but never really heard them used in game until now. Very cool! You can really hear David Skully and how he was masked really well before.
And may I also point out just how satisfying it is to hear a hearty "wort wort wort" right before the agonized screams of multiple Unggoy as their corpses go sailing through the air.
I don't remember him ever having any diologue outside of his growls and the "wort wort wort!" But yeah I forgot how strong and super fast he was... I learned the hard way to get good at head shots because that was his weak point. Also, the reason he kept winning against all those energy swords was because they took after DragonBall and chose to scream for a full 12 episodes before making a move....

No matter how many frickin' times I encounter those Elite Zealots in Halo: Combat Evolved, they always make me nervous when they charging at me with their damn energy swords.
Its kind of amazing and shows really good programming that he can attack enemies mid air. I love enemies. Honestly halo 1 programming is really good. in 2 and 3 I felt they were worse programmed.
