In almost all cases the dial code and the keypad code should be the same string of numbers. Example for dialing 45-21-62 and 452162 on keypad.

Hi Doug, While it is not required to be the same code sequence, it is a good way to remember both the electronic code and the mechanical combination.

@@securam Given how often it is not remembered by the customer, it should be highly recommended in the instructions.

when I dial 50 to the change indicator and try to insert the key, the key will not go all the way in, and I can't put the rollers in unlock mode.

If the existing code is dialed correctly they key should go all the way through the wheels. If the key is inserted through all wheels but not deep enough to turn the key, wiggle the key to ensure that it is fully engaged. The tab on the key must be inside the case to be able to turn and unlock the wheels. If you still have issues please call tech support at 805-988-8088
