Seeing your mouth open in awe is exactly how I felt the first time I saw this video as well. Adam (beatboxer) arranged it, I think it would be awesome if he arranged more often because this was amazing! It's one of their older videos, but I keep going back to it because I am compelled to do so. It gives feelings of cold and warmth at the same time. I don't know how.
It’s so good. Adam (beatboxer) arranged it. The boys say his arrangements are difficult. Loved it. It’s so creative. Loved Tim’s low notes. Can’t imagine why the ice didn’t fall during his low notes. They filmed it in an ice castle in Minnesota. Good one Ginger. Hope you had a great Christmas! 😍😄
Wow , indeed ... Home Free is simply outstanding ! Merry Christmas Home Fry Ginger !
Previously saw where you had posted this video but it was blocked, at the time, so good to see it can now be viewed. As another commenter mentioned, this is a fun listen any time of year. With Adam being the creative force behind this, can definitely hear his influence. Elevates the percussive elements, while at the same time, all the vocals are top notch with Chris, Rob and Austin really mixing it up. Of course, Tim is rumbling throughout. Another reactor went through this, breaking down some of the layers, and bringing awareness to how complicated the arrangement is.
The guys just finished their Christmas tour, last night and some who've attended one of the Holiday shows have mentioned they performed this song.
This was filmed minutes away from where I previously lived in MN for decades. Now in SoCal, seeing the snow, ice and 'brisk' temps, thankful for not having to deal with those conditions anymore although the visuals of winter, in that region, can sometimes be pretty amazing.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully you'll be doing lots more Home Free in 2024.
Omg omg the guys once again have worked their magic everyone did awesome with a special nod for the beat boxin and my lordy that bass was excellent perfection this whole arrangement wow I’m blown over and ain’t no telling how many more times I will be listening to this song along with-“O Holy Night”- and “ Mary did know” thank you God for putting these fellows together so as to give us so much enjoyment from their voices combining with one another Amen
😅 WASN'T THAT FANTASTIC ❤❤❤❤ great reaction 😊 Merry Christmas 🎅🎄
This is so very beautiful! Every time I hear this, I get goosebumps. Love your reaction!
Best version ever!
It's my favorite version TOO! :)
Great reaction! Thanks! Merry Christmas to you!
With all the holiday madness I missed this video. This wasn't a song that was at the top of my Christmas tunes list until Home Free put their spin on it. Thanks Ginger ~ I had the same reaction the first time I heard it. Merry Christmas! 🎄🍟
It’s amazing version I really didn’t like this version till I heard this one
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas from a Texas Home Fry!
If you didn’t listen to the outro, Adam did the arrangement on this. To me, this is far happier than the original, a great celebration! My favorite rendition by far. It was done in an ice castle in Wisconsin. Awesome video. Thanks for reacting, and Merry Christmas!
minnesota, not wisconsin.
@@nancyholter5646 Whoops, thanks!
Wow, indeed. Adam's arrangement is simply amazing. This is my favorite Home Free song, no matter what time of year. Have to hear it every day. Just fabulous. And I don't even like this song.
Merry Christmas, Ginger!
Hi Ginger. The year they did this video, the ice castle behind them was at Eden Prairie, Minn. It moves around each year. If you had continued with the outro, they basically answered all your questions. They said the temp was below freezing at the time of filming. As a suggestion, you should always go to the very end because HF does commenting on some of their videos. This was one of their best arrangements early on in their videography portfolio.
many reactors stop before the outro because of the spoiler they often have in them. Others, perhaps, because they think we don't want to see them.
The joy on your face exactly reflects the amazement I felt the first time I saw this video many years ago. I still feel that joy every time it gets replayed and reacted to by fans like yourself. Adam's arrangement is genius and the vocals and videography add up to a true masterpiece. Thanks for adding to the Merry on Christmas Eve!
Loved your reaction. Adam Rupp's arrangement! Just another fact to impress you.
Yeah....... WOW!!! My favorite version and my favorite HF Christmas carol. I am sad that my speaker doesn't handle Tim's E1 "Gold" bomb well.
Edit: Bing Crosby's original recording had almost militaristic snare drums in it, fitting, ad the Cuban Missle Crisis was happening. I much perfer Adam's arrangement.
Great rxn as usual
So beautiful, AND a groove. Really enjoyed your reaction and your comments, all on point. Happy Christmas!
