ATTENTION!: This video is over a year old, and some (If not most) of the apps mentioned in the video have been removed. As of 12/23/16, the links below have been updated. But as I have said, some have been removed from the app store, or were simply never available on the google play store. It's not my fault, but I can see why you'd be upset. I'm thinking of using some of your suggested apps, (And more reliable ones) for another video in the future. I am aware that some might consider this a weak list, and I'm willing to dive further into the world of VR apps for the next installment. Thanks for your time :)

Imagine going 10 years into the future and laughing at how easily impressed we were with caveman age VR headsets. It would. be like our grandparents being impressed by the early video games, like the ping pong video game. Everything looks so realistic and amazing to us because it's all new to us. It's like being a kid again, getting to try something totally new for the first time in our lives-- but as adults!
Yup bro after 50 years we would laughing watching these videos and thinking how old our time technology was.
Yeah I remember when the Google cardboard was hard to find and it was really expensive.

i decided to buy a google cardboard to try it out. here is a list of apps and games ive downloaded for those who want to try them out. dark walls vr, fulldrive, wrong voyage, vikings vr, vraccoon, vr fantasy rpg, trail world, and space stalker. full drive i highly recommend and can say its worth getting its a multimedia player, social media sharing app. space stalker is a scifi space shooter that looks great. vraccoon is a cute game thats almost like the vr cats game that achievement hunter played. you play as a raccoon and you move around by swatting a ball and you try to rack up points. great graphics for a vr game. dark walls is a horror game with good graphics. wrong voyage is an fps game. vikings is an endless runner game. trail world is a 3d exploration game where rack up points the further you go.

Back in the 70s we had some thing called View Finder, no batteries hold it to your head and click we could watch Disney Movies, came with slides

lol watched the video never even looked to see how old it was. interesting to see what was available years ago.
it looks like it is full angle on youtube, but when you really use it, it is just a small 3d box in darkness, vision angle is small.

I got a cardboard VR headset yesterday, and I was so excited. It turns out that was also the same day I found out my phone doesn't have a gyroscope. :(

I'm tried to watch the you tube movie but it sucks its like I only see the half part of the screen not the whole screen..I already downloaded the Cardboard on play store but still I really don't know how to use properly my VR glasses...please help what apps should I downloaded to watch a full video...I'm more on videos not for the virtual games...thanks and more power!!

There are apps where you can upload these virtual builds. It's called "InVR".
How do you know if an app is VR or not. I see a lot of games, but can't tell if it is VR or not.

I keep seeing or hearing that "Google Cardboard" Headset or apps are trash so what makes these vr apps No much however this video has a good host.
Does it actually have a line in between and show you two of the same thing on both sides?
It splits into 2 screens, one for each eye, when its on your head you cant tell that it is actually 2 screens, but if you try it with 1 screen it just looks weird.

To think most people will experience vr using their phones makes me a bit depressed, and to thing that they'll experience it using these.. apps makes me even more so.

PCFanatic, the pc would only have to be like $700 and the vive is like $400-500
