@@FrankStephensondesignAre there other examples of "high profile/veteran" designers doing this in entertainment media? I can't think of any notable ones. This sounds like a great way to make some extra money. Thanks Frank. I was lead car designer on this project, way back in 2006. All commenters should appreciate these cars were designed in 2006, and sometimes way before that (as some are from other Burnout games). Comparison with modern cars after that date means I was ahead of my time! My favourite is one I personally designed, the Watson R25 Racer and Frank guessed correctly that I do indeed have an Automotive Design education…

The v16 revenge is a reboot of the prototype series in burnout revenge, for which the 100% completion prize is one of these, dubbed "the revenge racer" with a game themed livery.
It's one of the best looking cars in the whole franchise in my opinion, and I'd would love to see a real life iteration made.

I’m glad to see some people who actually worked on those cars in the comments, feels so good to see them enjoy the fact we like their work and know how to appreciate it
Burnout Paradise is still to this day my all time favorite racing game, and my most favorite car from this game was the Carson GT Nighthawk, it was the pinacle of coolness

I'm surprised you didn't mention any influence from old Dodges (Charger, Challenger) on the first one. I think that's closer to it than a Chevy or Pontiac. Great video, these are always fun!

Hey frank, I think theres absolutely a market to do a second part to this video, there are a lot more cars in this game. The Hunter Cavalry, Hunter Vegas, Carson Annihilator, Nakamura Si7, The hot rods, The buggy's, and so forth. Please consider doing a part 2 to this.

    Hey frank,
You should do a series on how you would design new cars (your concept) how you would of designed the new m4 etc.

And there are pretty many games that have those. I can easily remember "Wreckfest", "Flatout 2", "Split Second", "Ridge Racer Unbounded", "Crash Time", "Live for speed", even a "Cars" franchise (which will be very fun) and more
