Today I test out the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer! This one is the Evo Ten MR trim. This was my first time driving an Evo and I was very impressed. Bone stock car with the 6 speed twin clutch transmission. The car is super responsive and the turbo seemed to run smooth without any lag. The stock exhaust and intake doesn't make too much sound, but I know upgraded parts will make it sound awesome. Handling was excellent with limited body roll and the Recaro seats did a fantastic job keeping me in the seat. I like the interior a lot, some people say its very plain, but I think with the navigation system and black with aluminum trim made the interior look great. I like the auto trans in these cars very fast shifting and great for long commutes only downside is trunk space

and current car- 2009 Subaru WRX G3
having had V8's for most of my life i got my first taste of boost with the WRX and i love it but i do miss having a V8....bbbbuuuutttt ive always loved the Evo's

The genesis coup 2.0t theta II motor is not the same as the Evo X 4b11t motor. while they might have some similarities they are different motors.
+Bryan Sproles It looks like the Genesis Engine is sourced from the Ralliart motor. But for the sake of the video its a similar engine with a smaller turbo and conservative tune.

can you still hear the blow of valve of the turbo with the automatic?
Yep. When you build boost then lift off. Not so much on gear shifts
doesn't lose boost on shifts, but when you let off yes.
If you combine the ETS intake with the stock blow off, it sounds great

You mentioned that the MR doesn't get the big wing on the back. As far as I understand it only the MR Turing has the understated lip that your car has.
Wrong, the touring and the SE model don't have a wing.
+Redline RR you're probably right. I was making the point that the non touring MR does come with the big wing.
2008 Evo X MR came with the big wing as standard equipment. But from 2010-2015 they gave it the lip.
Not the case in Australia. All Mr versions have the wing.
All the MR get the lip from 2011 on up. The touring package which i have is a combo of other nice extras.

Are the downshifts and upshifts instant?
They are pretty quick. As soon as I let off the paddle it shifts. So there isn't any notable delay.

It's basically a rebadged 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan in collaboration with Mitsubishi and Proton. Also, a bonus fact: INSPIRA came from the Malay word INSPIRASI, indicating INSPIRATION. That's all you need to know about.
