One of the things I appreciate about the new format of dope or nope is just how willing Tanner is to commit to a bit and to thoroughly investigate the merchandise, as indicated by his willingness to voluntarily sniff the brief safe. If that's not courage, I don't know what it is.

This is an old video lol but I do think that Micheal is actually just as smart as Matt he just doesn't show it because for the sake of comedy but Micheal is actually a really smart boi and Tanner is Tanner, smart as well but more on the comedic relief so Matt interacts with Tanner a lot cause he portrays someone who is constantly trying to act like the smartypants and Tanner takes in the joke a lot and makes it funnier ehich makes it seem like they're closer.
