Porque el cable de arriba viene torcido?
Hi. So I know this is a lat pulldown machine and is used for upper body, however, I was wondering if the bottom attachment can be changed so I can kick back with it as well? Use it for leg and glute focused exercises.
Nadine, yes, you can get an ankle cuff attachment and use it on the low pulley for glute kickbacks and other leg/glute-focused exercies as you had mentioned!
Would you recommend to lubricate the pulley and the rail which guides the trolley ? The rubber on the trolley sometimes cause not a smooth movement
We recommend cleaning the guide rods with an alcohol based cleaner, then lubricate them with a dry silicone or teflon spray. If you're still having trouble after doing that, please contact us at service@bodysolid.com and we can see if there's a bigger issue we'll need to help you fix.
how much weight can this take?
This machine has a 300 lb. weight capacity.
Hi I'm 185cm tall, do you think I could do a full range of motion in a steady lat pull? Had this problem with another machine and I'm looking for something that can fix this issue.
You should have no issues at all. The male model in this video is around 5'10-6'0 and as you can see, he's able to get full ROM.
Just bought this. No problem at all for even taller people.
@@pmail2731 how tall are you mate?
I'm 6 ft tall. Even taller people can use this machine as long as they're performing the lat pulldown properly (leaning back a bit and pulling to chest and not straightening out fully upright when you raise the weight!).
Only time I use up the cable slack fully is when doing a standing individual side raise. The cable is just long enough. You can also adjust the slack a bit using the chain.
How tall is the machine?
60"L x 32"W x 82"H
I bought this machine and am putting it together now. The issue I am having is that the weight sled does not move up and down easily at all. It takes strength to move it up or down with no weight. It is too tight . I called the company service dept but they have nobody to help me. Any advice?
We're sorry to hear you've been having issues getting this machine put together. Have you been able to get into contact with anyone from our service team yet?
I could not get a hold of anyone there , but I managed to cut some if out to make it fit and now it is fine. @@BodySolidFit
Which size olympic adapter sleeve should be bought with this?
You'll want to pick up our OA8 Olympic Adapter Sleeve: www.bodysolid.com/Home/OA8/8__Olympic_Adapter_Sleeve
I had this one with weightstack.. not sturdy when pulling and the seat is way to small to sit on.... so i sold mine..
Sorry to hear you were unhappy with the product Robin. If there's anything we can do, please let us know. We appreciate any and all feedback.
Thanks for the comment. I was interested in this but it doesn’t look anywhere near sturdy enough or big enough for someone of 6ft 4 like me. Shame.
If you stick to proper angles, and don't pull from the side like on a functional trainer, this machine is BEYOND sturdy. And it has nearly 1:1 pulley ratio... so the pulley system doesn't decrease the weight being lifted. It can hold a lot of weight. I'm almost 6' 1", and height is not related to machine stability. The seat is removable and meant not to be used for texting. Only for lat pulldowns :). And all the weight during lat pulldowns is focused on the thigh rollers, not the seat!
I think this girl who posted might not have tightened the posts enough. You have to tighten them until the special body solid metal tabs bend inward (specifically designed to make this the most stable machine - unless you go full commercial grade).
Anyway, my two cents.
@@pmail2731 i am a men😉
Robin is a guys name in the Netherlands 😁
Anyway.. i think i have enough knowhow of fitness equipment.
I run a old school gym called Progressive Overload Gym.
Now i only have Professional equipment.👍
Oops... sorry, about that. Assumed "Robin" was female :)
The machine is laterally not as stable, but I don't find issues when pulling. But if you ended up going full commercial, well, that's best option!
