How are those things in any way comparable? One could be dismissed as negligence, the other as wanton misconduct. One happens to the vast majority of fighters at some time in their career, and the other has happened like 3 times in the history of the UFC?

Vietnamese start counting a person’s age at 1 as well. Maybe it’s because we start counting as soon as the baby is growing in the mother’s womb so technically a person is 9 months or so at birth instead of 0. Just a theory.

Can someone explain to me why so many people have the perspective that Chris wideman is one of the greatest champions of all time? For what? Got a fluke knockout win versus Anderson and then broke his leg in the rematch and then proceeded to get knocked out like 4 times in a row.
I think because he was the first person to beat Anderson in the ufc. But in reality Anderson beat himself. I agree with you.

I agree with you about Max. Max's gift round by round is volume punching. The move up in weight is concerning against Justin's natural weight and I believe Max will be a bloody mess by round 3. This fight when announced never made sense to me? Two years ago maybe it should have happened and Max has ever right to dream. Mad respect for both of these gentlemen.

On Ronda Rousey: I watched three of her interviews for her new memoir, and I don't see the negative angle Weasle brings up. Rousey says she retired because of concussions and fear of CTE. That's a reason why she left WWE too. She says it impacted her prep and fight with Holly and Amanda. And in one show when asked, Rousey said with a laugh she still considers herself the greatest fighter, though she knows others may not agree. If we want to call her delusional, it is no more delusional than other fighters. What is clear is her leaving WWE for good does suggest concussions were a reason for leaving UFC. It is true she never could bring herself to officially retire from UFC with a formal announcement. But she was devastated after those losses, contemplating suicide, which runs in her family. Makes sense she could not bring herself to say I quit UFC.

I have an idea about what could happen with Justin at ufc 300. So we have seen the more controlled Justin lately. When he fought Charles, he went out there trying to go hard af because rose had just disappointed the fans so much and because of that he really felt like he had to give them that violent show as the local and headliner.
So if Charles gets a great finish over Arman, and says some stuff on the mic that makes the crown go nuts, and Justin sees that, he might drop the game plan and go out there trying to 1 up Charles, getting reckless throwing wild and max could hurt and stop him if that happens.
Topuria is beatable if you can make him move backwards for the entire fight..

It’s easier to pick fights when you have no biases towards any fighters. People usually pick the person they want more than the person who should technically win
I find that its easy (when training) to tuck the right hand when throwing that liver shot but maybe its harder in a actual fight as I tend to over extend. I guess people move better than heavy bags . (who knew.) Anyway boxing has the answers and I think Illia could def catch a tight counter hook from the shell. Like Izzy did to Alex . He probably eats it but everyone's chin is great until it isnt.
It’s interesting with Colby because he literally looked the same way the first 2 rounds against usman as he did against Leon the whole fight, I remember thinking then like Colby isn’t showing up then I think in rd 3 he started fighting but I think there’s something in his style especially with the inactivity that caused him to fight that way, then if he hurt his foot then that would make sense for the reason he could never turn up the gas like he did after doing nothing against usman the first 2 rounds

Fun fact: I'm Romanian and I can tell you 100% that Vlad was not killed by his own people by accident :)))))) historians in my country laughed a lot on national TV about this story from the show. The explanation is very simple: a medieval ruller, any medieval ruller, could not be mistaken as someone else because he would have been dressed in very distinct clothes in every scenario. Even a ruller's night time pijamas would have been designed in such a way that no one can confuse who he was. This was a safety measure widely spread in medieval Europe. The thruth is that we simply don't know how Vlad died. There is no evidence about it.

Hey Weasle, which weight class do you think power meets skill the best at? Also at what weight class do you believe everybody for the most part can ko each other with there hands? I think welterweight has the ko power but lightweight is the best class between power and skill if you look at it as bantamweight being the most skillfully but least power and heavyweight the least skill but most power?

There are many fighters in history who have mastered the one punch KO. It is extremely hard to do consistently but some have figured it out. I can speak on this because as an ex-boxer I had figure it out and what I can say is once you find your mark, it becomes similar to playing pool where you have to hit the right mark. Please speak on this because there is so much to discuss. What I learned by the people that I KO, most of them told me that I don't even hit hard. To me, that was a great compliment because in the gym the people you spar with are friends and that would affect me, I would actually cry at night thinking about how that may have affected them which means It wasn't in my heart, another topic. Please look up Julian Jackson who had that gift and give an analogy, thank you.
