    Seems some are doubting GSP's attempt to make 155 at 39 years old. GSP is a small Welterweight to today's standards where he walks around at 183lbs.
    That is his weight outside of a training camp. This is much lighter than a lot of 155ers in the UFC.
    Walk around weight:
    Khabib = 190lbs
    Tony Ferguson = 195lbs
    Dustin Poirier = 185lbs
    Paul Felder = 185lbs
    Eddie Alvarez = 190lbs
    Kevin Lee = 185lbs (During Camp)

      @Harun Lari Tony has the heaviest walking weight in the entire division. There was even a photo of him on a scale weighing 200lbs. I honestly don't know anyone in any division besides Figgy who compares to this.

      Bro gsp is way bigger than khabib or Tony. Just look at his structure. His wide and dense as fuck. His just shredded always. There is no fucking way Tony or khabib would weigh the same as gsp on the same bodyfat percentage.

      Andries Pretorious yeah he Looked pretty old against Bisping 😂 plus he had 4 years off before that but no way man out of any fighter he would be Khabibs toughest test by far.. Only thing Khabib has on him is the grappling advantage obviously..

    • @aaronp1174
      @aaronp1174 Před 3 lety

      Nastynork that’s true depending on what weight it’s at Khabib will have a big advantage at 155 for strength for sure...it may be a catch weight though possibly 165, all I’m
      saying is GSP would be his toughest test out of any fighter by far, you could definitely call it a 50/50 fight.. and it wouldn’t be a stretch, can you say that for any other of his past opponents? his take down defense is phenomenal ( I know Khabib is a different animal) plus he has all the advantages for striking defensively/offensively, ( better jab) and he has leg kicks... he’s just much more well rounded.. Doesn’t prove anything if he beats him?! I know he’s been off for a while but That’s crazy talk, GSP = 🐐

    • @nagymegyeridr5405
      @nagymegyeridr5405 Před 3 lety +5

      Stop talking about the Khabib vs Tibau match Weasle. That fight was Khabib's second fight IN A CAGE. Before that fight he only fought once in a cage, back in Russia he fought only in boxing rings. After that fight wich was (8 YEARS AGO ) against a bigger ( 100% juiced up ) man Khabib realized he has to develop a solid game against a fence. He goes to AKA and started training with Cormier, Cain, Rockhold etc and become the most dominant fighter we have ever seen. So if you think Khabib will not take down GSP and hold him down/ground and pound/submit him, you are a bit delusional.

      He’s won against more ranked fighters than that... pretty sure Mizugaki, Cruz, Almeida, and Assuncao were all ranked at the time he fought them, and even his losses to ranked opponents were competitive. Id also argue that the spectacular fashion of his win over Cruz and the competitiveness of the first Dillashaw fight warranted that 2nd title shot

    • @stephen_crumley
      @stephen_crumley Před 3 lety +8

      Janny890 can’t really blame Dana though, Cody brings more viewers than any other 125er and Dana is trying to help the division by ANY means necessary. If it ends up being an epic legendary war, everyone will be saying what a genius Dana is. I hope it’s an incredible fight but more than likely a weakened 125 pound Cody gets sent to the shadow realm

      I completely agree with all of that... 100%.... But I guess it's my casual side that wants to see a bigger grappler with a strength advantage that Khabib can't just muscle into his world. Of course a good part of Khabib's overwhelming strength comes from technique, but GSP has an uncommon natural talent/ability for technique, and he's also very intelligent.... Adesanya most likely is around 205. Jones and the other LHWs can weigh in the 220-240 pound range. Adesanya packing on 15-20 pounds of muscle will most likely compromise his speed, foot-work, cardio, and overall technical ability.
