- Found 3 Porsche 944's that have been sitting on some property for a few years. The red one was used as his primary race car. Also scored an air-cooled Porsche 911 engine with dual carbs. I hope that with the parts car, I can complete the two. Also announcing the Super Clean giveaway.

Could get them in auto I believe it was a GM 3-speed or that could be the 928
correction 944 autos are a VW 4 speed the 928 is a GM auto
You could make that $300 back simply by selling one rear hatch glass
Oh wow that's cool. I will for sure try and get them yard driving at least. Hopefully the engine in the red one is in decent shape and wasn't bashed on too hard.
@@VWBrennidon okay if you're using the factory fuel tank I would flush it first I fried two fuel pumps just because I wanted to hear my car run and now I'm having to pay for that mistake again because my fuel lines got filled with 15-year-old varnish
@TwoDollarGararge yeah I'll probably run a boat tank to it before I do anything. Found a registration that said 2005 and then the license plates I found in it are from 2010 so hopefully the tank isn't too bad
@@VWBrennidon here are the issues I have had with my 89 the pre 85.5 are slightly different sometimes. The DME relay may fail from Age, your seat rails may be frozen since the sunroof seal leaks ruins the passenger rear carpet and floor, sunroof seals leak as-well as the hoses that run to the back they leak or those cause the rear quarters to rot out from dumping water on the metal so much
@@VWBrennidon fuel pressure regulators die from age or shit fuel, DO NOT hit the odometer reset button the plastic gear breaks, door seals leak again old, power steering racks leaks if it's not it's empty maybe that's a 85.5 + issue.
