Good guard says "Don't bring children close to the horse" 👍Maybe this should be added to the sign too, not that anyone will read it! It's shocking how many parents have no instinct to protect their young, even animals know to protect their young!

OK, adding this guard to my list of favourites. He's lovely to care for the little ones.

It is very unfortunate, that adults can't always see when a horse is not being friendly, but is irritated, and have to be told to be Cautious with their child . I can never understand why adults are often so relaxed, with their children, near a powerful animal like a horse. Crazy . 🇬🇧

Ma'am that's just because people aren't raised around horses much anymore. We replaced the 'angry animal' knowledge with 'how to cross the street' and 'the sound of a messed up engine'. 'Progress' I suppose you'd call it.

@@carlhicksjr8401 I get what you mean, but I wasn't raised near horses either. However, I've always loved animals , and learned that, they have moods just like us. So I grew up respecting their space. I grew up mainly with cats and dogs. 🇬🇧

@@carlhicksjr8401 Anyone with a brain could see the horse was agitated even the child knew, but not the adult

Another fantastic guard. Listening to his mounts mood. Shame he has to put up with these idiot tourists.

😊Tell the palace to STOP using the horses. They're clearly anxious/frustrated. Just let the soldiers stand at pthe gates

This is exactly why people should not be near the horses. The horse could bite or charge out of the box and run right into that child. Most of the people there do not understand horse behavior.

Yeah, the horse seems annoyed at something. 'He' gnawing the bit and his ears are going back and forth. He hadn't gotten to the tail swatting or shivering whithers yet, but it seemed like that was coming.
I'm a Civil War reenactor and, while I'm in the Infantry, I know a lot of cavalrymen and some of the signs of a grumpy horse.
