    When I saw this recipe, it was the first time I had seen your channel. I immediately subscribed! I made it last night for dinner paired with crusty bread. Absolutely delicious!       kind of in the same boat as you, did you laugh when he said when the temperature drops this is good food, as a Canadian im sure his winter foods are my spring foods. Chickpeas are the best, and this guy has a lot of good chickpea recipes.

    I made this stew 2 days ago after watching you video and it was so delicious that I’m making another batch today for work this week. We are having a major snow storm in Toronto Canada and this is the perfect cozy comfort dish to have. I ate it with the egg and I can’t believe how delicious it was together!!     That is probably a strange question: have you ever considered doing a video in spanisch (with englisch undertitles) ? That would be a good spanisch lesson for viewers and make for a nice diversity.

    Fantastic dish. We love soups during cooler months of the year. This one is on the extremely short list!
    We have been to Barcelona a few times and really enjoyed out time there. Especially the Hop on/Hop off busses!!

    Delicious!!! I will definitely try this recipe. I can eat chick peas for every meal of the day and never tire of them. I like them served warm with some red wine vinegar sprinkled on top and salt and pepper- so simple but so good :)

    I made this yesterday for my lovely vegetarian friend but I added my own twist by not using hard boiled egg but topped with a lightly poached egg and the yolk ran into the soup and it was amazing. Have you considered doing a vid on how to poach an egg? A lot of folk struggle with this.

    Hola para España, somos inglés. Just made this and it’s lovely, my autistic son won’t try it though we did make one of your pasta dishes and that’s how we found your videos. As it’s only me I halved the ingredients and therefore have half the chickpeas and pasata left, what receipt can you recommend to use up those ingredients, gracias

    Saffron is kind of expensive here in Oklahoma.... Is there something you can recommend as a substitution? or should I just leave it out?
