I just got my XLT and love it. I ordered it in March and took delivery end of July. I have had Yukons and Tahoes my whole life and was nervous about switching to a Ford with a turbo-V6 in a big truck. Very refreshing to be able to clearly see the road at night now, the LED reflectors provide great output and clarity. I have the active-X seats and it's actually at tad softer than the leather in my sister's Limited. The expedition isn't as quick off the line, but as soon as the turbos kick in, it's gone.
Definitely like the styling and boxy shape. Honestly, if it wasn't for your channel, I wouldn't know to look out for this car and think reflexively it was a Chevy Tahoe or something similar. Thanks Kevin for the overview,
Haha 😂 yea it is pretty generic looking I can see why wealthy people like it pretty incognito but expensive. Appreciate you watching my friend I hope all is well
Excellent review on the Expedition sir, overall it’s solid bang for buck in its class.
Thank you my friend, I agree solid choice
I have the exact truck in the max. love it. always had suburban's and tahoe's and went ford for the engine. the chevy has more low end while the expedition has much more torque. you're correct that the limited etc... are not necessary. I haven't noticed any rattling in my truck, but I did stick w/the 18" wheels - it's actually fairly quiet. the interior is very nice but not luxury. all in all, a very nice vehicle if you need the space. Also, this is a fantastic highway road trip vehicle. for me it's always expedition max or suburban and the max won out this time.
I recently rented a Limited. Drive it 2000 miles. It was very comfortable. The engine is no joke. The thing hauled ass for its size.
That's interesting to know that you feel the powertrain in this Expedition is more refined than the comparable powertrain found in the Lexus/Toyota. One of my favorite characteristics of the old Toyota NA V6 was how smooth it was but I never tried the TT unit.
Yea TT is nothing like the NA V6 they’ve gone completely backwards
Thanks Kevin, great job! I honestly didn't know that the wealthy prefer this Beast because it's understated and not too flashy! As for me I'd choose the Jeep Wagoneer as i prefer the luxurious interior appearance, but it does cost $77K so it should be nicer! P.S. Would you mind reviewing the Subaru Forrester 2016 or newer please, I think that might be my next car. CHEERS!
Hey Greg totally agree the Jeep is such a cool addition in this segment. I doubt I could even find that car or any used cars for that matter lol
My 2019 had quality issues like the ones you mentioned. I was disappointed
Douchebaggery .. lmao! Great review. I ordered a Limited on March 3rd here in NY. Still waiting ....
Congratulations my friend I know that you will love this vehicle. I hope you get it soon
You mentioned there will be a new redesign in 2024? Are you sure?
I was planing to buy 2023 but I’d rather wait till next year if the 2024 is confirmed to be complete redesign.
I think it won’t come until 2026. Because the midlife refresh came in 2022 after 4 years from original release, and then 4 more years the change would come ! If you know something help me
No not 100% sure and nothing is confirmed in fact, on the Edmunds website they are saying the Expedition will be a carryover for 2024 most likely.
But the Expedition has been out for awhile now since 2018 in its current body style.
Price,price,price
How would you rank this vs the sequoia
Haven’t tried it
All hail algorhythm 🙌🏻 😂
Is this reliable? Like last 10 plus years?
Very, I have a 2000 expedition with the 5.4 Triton, a 17 expedition with the same engine as this with 150k, and I have this with the same engine 60k miles. These are one heck of a vehicles
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
If I was the Ceo, there would be a V8 option with this vehicle, including a supercharged version!!
You’re hired

Yo bro
Sun roofs makes you less safe. Nothing to protect you from a rollover.
Tahoe looks better but the Expedition is a classic land submarine
Ford has to be one of the largest plastic producers in the world
😅😂😂🤣
Lexus will still be running when ford is in the junk yarf
Nah....gone are those days....Toyota were reliable because their tech was years old....now when everyone is introducing to these new turbo engines everyone is near same....
Man those wheels look so cheap and small haha
Yea those 20s are so terrible such a waste. They look lame and cost $1100 not worth it
No problem with this class of vehicle. What irks me are the freaking whiners who buy these land yachts and then complain about gas prices. Why are these idiots buying these extremely expensive depreciating assets and not budgeting for fluctuating fuel costs?
Exactly 😅😂
I have a 2020 max xlt. It gets 19.4 combined mileage. I also have a 2017 Explorer that gets 20.0 mog. I can't complain at all.
