    Coach Kennie, I am curious where should our eyes focus when the opponent is serving/ hitting... Thank you

    Coach can you please tell what to do to stop the other team in double to hit a smash or how to give back a shot on which smash is not possible

      You change the height of the lift or lob… try to lift lower and see if works or lift only to the side away fr the opponent so even if they have to smash moving them could make it a bit softer as opposed to lifting it easily to their spot. 😁🏸

    When that happens, I try to say to myself, okay, we will most likely lose so let's just push ourself and improve our court covering skills.
    but to be honest, it is infuriating at times when the opposing team is a balanced pair, they will just "bodega" your partner. They will just play safe long shots and wait for errors turn after turn. Pag ganun, the next shot, kuhanin mo talaga, cover the rest of the court if you can. Pag pinagpawisan ka, you should be happy... win or lose.. pero pag queuing, medyo have a heart naman, challenge natin sarili natin, magpapawis tayong lahat, hindi yung mag hakot ng panalo...

    Hi Coach Kennie, I am a very competitive player, but I don't really know how to join a team or find coaches these days. How do I join a team and get competitive.

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety +1

      Do a bit of research or ask around your area then pick which team you’d like to join. If along the way you feel that you would rather try another team then go try again but if you’re happy there then stay😁🏸

    What if they keep lifting or attempt to go for the shuttle then duck? Or the feel you picking on them when you make them play front.?

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety

      Advise them to keep the shuttle going down. Keep it simple, i would normally say press down or set up for the stronger player😁🏸

    Coach can you plss also help me
    In this .😁i am able to hit smash and drop and many trick shots when i am practicing them in particular but when in match it's so fast and i cannot think of trick shots at that time and just start defending in the rally

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety +1

      I am not fond of trick shots unless the player gets points from it all the time. Trick shots are meant to be used once in awhile, when done too often, opponents get used to those kinds of return😁🏸

    Coach kennie, may i know how much i spend to restring my racket?

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety

      Normally strings are between 500-600 depending on what kind plus stringing fee 100-150 pesos😁🏸

    Me and my men’s doubles partner are losing to a mixed combo. They aren’t individually better than us. What should be our strategy to beat them?

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety +1

      Without watching how u played and lost i can only give u basic advice which is giving the weaker player more shots, check their position if lady player stays mostly in front then the goal is to push her to the back and attack more & lastly put in between shots meaning shots which both of them can hit but closer to the weaker player to hopefully give them a bit of confusion then immediately taking the opportunity to hit away from them.😁🏸
