What we're seeing here is the greening of Trevor. Now he's got a huge issue to sink his teeth into, and to help him grow into his Daily Show character and presentation. It's the same thing that happened with Jon and 9/11 - after that, the show really became the show we ended up loving so much. Trevor is an immigrant with a great love for America, so this event touches him deeply, on a level that's hard to understand by those of us born here. (And poor Hassan is PETRIFIED.) I think we'll see a great growth of maturity and more depth to the comedy on the show now.
