Can someone give me context? I've never heard of this movie, except for a facebook post with a similar joke. The poster only told me there was a "spoiler" involved, so he didn't elaborate further.
I watched his testimony live and really he is man of credibility who sat there with stone cold expression, cool and calm composure. he never wrote memos with other presidents' meetings but hey trump is exception in every case.. comey's testimony made it crystal clear.
If only he'd realized that before he let Trump into the White House.

Comey really was innocent and telling the truth, his demeanor and his willingness to share information, even hoping there were actually tapes, so that Trump's own stupid ass could be convicted by his own words and Comey could be proven right. I believe he was truthful and I think he withheld information to not further fan the flames of political strife and focus on justice being served correctly, with fair and factual deliberation and due process.

I lived under the conservative programming for most of my life, thank goodness I realized the hypocrisy they offer. EVERYONE has an agenda, not just the left. Though honestly, I'm beginning to think the right has NO scruples, while the left at least has some.
Look at the law our Republicans put in place revoking FCC privacy protections so that now ISP's can collect all your data and sell it to third parties without your consent. ~95% of Americans are APPOSED to this law, but ISP's donated 1.7 mil to Republicans in the house's campaigns(as well as quite a bit to the Senate though I do not have an exact figure) so it became law. Guess who didn't vote for the bill even though they were paid off? every democrat. Let's look at trumpcare, it's very similar to obomacare except it kicks off a bunch of people and allows states to not offer things religious nuts find offensive(even though not everybody is religious, and it's THEIR religion, yet they want others to follow THEIR religion's rules), some would argue this means it costs less and we are in a deficit, but they didn't use the "saved money" to go after the deficit, they cut taxes for the same economic class they are in.

Even if you prefer the old way of calculating unemployment, and even if we fudge the numbers a little, it is nowhere near the stupidity of this figure.

You are correct, it is legal to ask for an investigation to be stopped, it is however, extremely irregular for a President to ask for an investigation that involves him or the people around him to be stopped. Hence the accusation of collusion of justice. Furthermore, It is extremely irregular that the President would ask the Vice President and others to leave a room to be one on one with the Director of the FBI and then to claim, "I Hope, the investigation is stopped." Why would this need to be said in private if it isn't an illegal threat? Why endure so many private meetings with the Director of the FBI, who is investigating cases against you and your administration, if what they are doing is not illegal. Or rather, I'll say this to you to make a point,
"There's a high probability that you sir are an asshole, I hope that that is not the case, and I hope that you stop telling people, what could be an extremely dangerous mind set on the American People. You could become the biggest, and I mean a HUGE threat to people when you disclose information without context. Over 60% of Americans take information presented to them in the first 14 seconds of a conversation and use it to help understand the logic between two individuals."
In my example, I'm not saying you are an asshole, I'm not directing you to stop spreading your opinion, I'm not saying that you have a dangerous mentality that could lead to misinterpretation of information; because of the effects it can have on people when things are taken out of context.
You see it's a little more complex than that.
